I'm glad you like it.

I can remember growing up.. Every Saturday night was popcorn and Hockey Night in Canada.

its a good thing you said yes you would have some, for if you wouldnt, i would have been dissapointed, for without the excuse of popcorn, how would i do this?

grinning, i pull the bowl to Nights side, then slide one leg over his lap, then the other close to his body, so I am straddling him horse fashion. reaching for the bowl, i remove a single piece of pocorn and feed it to Night

So, what other fun things did you get up to growing up?

Well Umm I was an outdoorsey kinda kid.. Seemed like I was always surrounded by animals. I played baseball.. Street hockey.. A lot of typical Canadian kid stuff..

sounds much the same as me, though i grew up in BC, and my time was spent more playing guns and building forts lol (I was Such a tomboy)

Careful with that bouncing.. Those legs your sitting on are attached to me.

I also spent a lot of time camping and going out on the boat fishing too. The summers were spent camping and fishing nearly everyday with my parent's.

Mind you living on the Great Lakes made that kind of activity easy.

hmm, guess they are...ok, I will try, maybe i will just wiggle around a bit...

camping...we didnt do any of that, mostly due to the fact we lived in a camping situation all the time...the woods 20 yards from my door, river beside us etc

I did however, do a lot of fishing, river fishing in the summer, ice fishing when the ice was thick enough

Where has everybody gone? Turks here, polishing that same glass such that it's very thin on the edges. The tables all look clean, which is a crime. There is no Cafe Con Leche (or whatever that Cuban coffee Shereads likes so much) and the Creme de menth is warm.

If Rick's Rooftop Inn isn't the happenen place to be, well them I'm just lost.
This has always been the goto spot, the gala, the Studio 54 of Lit's boards. This is that tiny weathered port in the storm of sex, lies and videotap that surrounds us (granted, we jumped into the pool, and encourage the surroundings).

Now, I don't know about you folks but I am not going to the China Pearl Inn...their vibrating bed nearly took the toes off my right foot, and their bartender (tall, white generic looking fellow) has not once swept a woman off her feet I garuntee it.

Turk's good for the sweeping.

You know, all it takes is a good old fashioned tongue-lashing to wake me from my slumber. Still too much going on in my neck of the woods to be struttin' my stuff through the Roof too often, though I promise to make my presence known a bit more so ya'll won't be forgettin' me.

Well Boys and girls another day starts at the Inn.

Day has worn into afternoon and afternoon in to evening. The sky a cobalt blue streaked with crimson the chill of the afternoon giving way to a cold wind. The quarter moon shines down from a cloudless sky promising a cold night and a hard frost.

I add several logs to the glowing coals on the hearth , stretch out my hands to warm my self then pour a steaming mug of coffee as much for comfort as the heavenly taste.

Evening to those that may be about.
