Another cold morning dawns and the fire demands its virgin sacrifice of new wood. The aroma of fresh brewed coffee seductively calls to me. Steam rises from my old mug and my mind wonders to another time and place.

A somber good morning to all on this day where we remember the 11th day, of the 11th month, and the 11th hour.

Weather you call this day Remembrance Day, or Veterans Day it is a time to give thanks to all those who served, to all that have given their lives to God and Country, some giving to the last measure, so we may be the people we are, for better or worst but FREE.

Let Us all take a moment to Remember Less we forget that Freedom comes at a high price.

AriO .... It is way too warm here, its been like 10-12 degrees warmer than average in the whole country for the last three weeks. There is one I repeat ONE downhill slope open when there should have been at least hundreds. Good news is we will soon be able to make wine in this country ... We have even lost a good excuse to cuddle with this warmth. Care to visit the fridge room with me ?

McKenna .. Can I come visit you, please ? I have heard that you have snow to offer a tiger that wants to come out and play.

Shereads .. I think you are aiming at the wrong place with that gun if we have to wear bullet proof underwear although I wouldn't mind if you targeted my underwear in another way

Working like mad only covers half of it Cg...I think every minute I have been awake lately I ahve been busy doing something, if not working, dealing with missbehaving children lol.

But, the good news is that though my hours at work are about to double literally, my home time seems to have calmed down, leaving me free in the evenings once more.

How about you? (and I cant believe the moldy part either lol)

i want to do a pirate thread, one where there are sea battles, galleons, loot etc galore, the basic idea being two ships meet on the ocean, there is a tremendous sea battle, in which of course, there is only one winner.

When the conquering ship pulls along side, (forgive the terminology, my brain is fuzzy tonight) fastens on the grappling hooks and boards, they pillage the wounded ship, killing all the crew except the captain because she is female.

Dragged before the Captain of the other ship various events (undetermined) take place and she ends up at his side, as an equal as they plunder through the high seas, the bulk of the thread being in whatever adventures they might come up with, toss in a little deciet, betrayal and a healthy dose of lust, and to me at least, it sounds like a damn fine thread.

Yep, I do recall something along that lines...the memory is a tad faint though my voice teases as a smile crosses my face
