Ok, folks, I'm finally alive and well thanks to better living through chemistry. I hope everyone is doing the same or at least headed in the rihgt direction.

I read that book...oh what was it...good grief...it started with a C...anyhow the woman was kind of possessed these ghosts/devilspirits haunted her and fucked the shit outa her almost every night...rather violently...it was rather frightening...but the sick twisted part in my teenage head read on....She was eventually committed to a mental institution I think...no one believed her...I only read it for the sex parts... O_O

As for me, I'm fantastic. I recently took my new job working as a technician, I'm geeking out in a big way and really enjoying the nature of my work. The perks and benefits are fantastic and there are very visible tiers of advancement. Plus, they're paying for my grad school. Hooray.
Nice to know that I'm settled into a job for the next few years.
My writing has suffered a bit, but c'est la vie.

Subo's Saturday Surprise

Where has old subo been? I've heard the refrain. Well, therein lies a story.
Without being too melodramatic, on May 6th, I had a series of severe headaches which turned out to be a stroke. I had a brain bleed but I was blessed as one of the 10% of stroke victims who have no aneurism. After 10 days in the hospital and a week under the care of family, I'm finally back home. I have much to be grateful for. My prognosis is complete recovery and I 've been able to do something more or better every day.
I'm grading papers and making lesson plans but I can't get back into my class room before next fall. 150 teenagers are still beyond me at the moment.
However, flirtation is not. Roofettes beware.

summer sunday sojourn
Turk, some cold juice please, I'm still on the wagon, so to speak, but my day will come.
Well, summer is here and school is finally out. I never got back into the class room but I did manage to grade papers and finalize report cards. I had nine failures out of 150, which is not too bad considering. I think I could have reduced that if I had been there the last 3 weeks, but learning about choices is a big part of growing up. I'll get another school of little guppies in August and do it al over again.
My recovery is coming along quite nicely. My stamina is steadily coming back and I'm getting lots of exercise. I was out in the woods putting a tree stand together for the fall hunting season and I intend to do a lot of wildlife scouting and fishing this summer. Lots of fresh air and exercise. Who knows, maybe I might be able to throw a little friskiness into the mix.
Snugglebunz: I'm ready for my punishment. I earned it and you seem so eager.
Delicious maiden: the idea of you in a nurses uniform has made my mouth water.
I'm never above some TLC.
