RIP Tim Curry.

Remember the quote about why Michael Caine and Tim Curry did so well in their respective Muppet movies, because Michael Caine treated the Muppets as fellow actors and Tim Curry treated himself as a fellow Muppet?

He was always trying something new, and I never saw him give less than his all to whatever he was in. Rest in peace.

Looking back, most of my favorite movies are those featuring Tim Curry. He could him it up with the best of 'em, because he didn't take himself too seriously. We need more of those kinds of entertainers. 🧡
Unfortunately, too many of those who share that perspective are secretly suffering from mental health issues and we end up losing them early. He was a shining example of someone truly happy with himself and didn't care!

Sad news. I'll never forget the first time I saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show, at a midnight showing at a second rate theater. The highlight had to be Curry's descent in the elevator and then pulling the cape open to reveal himself. That and all the crowd heckling and joking throughout the movie. I'd never seen anything like it.

It's an interesting coincidence that both he and Dolly Parton were 80 when they died one day apart.

“I propose a toast…”

When he said that, you had to duck from all the pieces of bread thrown in the theater.
lol I had wet hair from the first scene when they got to the castle. Everybody was throwing around cokes, water, whatever drinks they had!

The scene with Dr. Frankenfurter & his 'creation', the boy I was with stuck his hand up my skirt, so the rest of the movie was always kinda vague to me 🥴

Does anyone see remember this song? I think it’s been 40-45 years since I’ve heard it last.

The lyrics are amazing. Googled it. He wrote them on 45 minutes during a rehearsal.

Tim Curry committed to the bit so hard that he maintained he had an affair with Miss Piggy in his memoir
