Sounds like you ran a great race (take the heels off you could have won), I am not a runner or jogger......takes way too much energy.....I'm thinkin' it woulda been fun to be along for the ride last nite. Race went well; 3.7 miles in 31mins and 4 seconds, which for a 35 yr old first timer is pretty good, I hear. 45 people beat me in, I know there were over 100 in the pack; all ages. Wining male time was 19 something and fastest female went 24 and change. I felt good, and will do another soon! For comparison...I finished right behind the 50-54 yr old group winner; who is an accomplished triathlete.
It was friggin' COLD here this morning, though! 39 degrees. My bare legs were not wanting to get outta the car! On the way to the rodeo now; my kids have never seen one....should be fun.
Prolly won't be on tonight; friends over....gunna get drunk & get loud. There'll be pickin' & singin'....maybe some bewbz
