RockNut's Darkened Corner

Blade!!! Well, I strolled through your thread (not everything because you've got quite a lot of pages here). Very interesting! You are one funky man.:rose:

Love love your shoes and your wife's as well! And I think you look better in dresses and heels than I do!

Thank you so much; that's quite a bold compliment to say I look better than a beautiful lady. Funky? I'll agree with that. I guess one could say I'm... multi dimensional. Of course, my "kinkier" sides show here the most; maybe skewing the image a bit that way...but oh well. :cattail:

Oh, the legs are back...leading right up to that delicious derriere. Yummy!

hey, look....it's November. time for a Darkened Corner post. man, we got Fall happenin' all over us. barn coat, cigar and a glass of bourbon, neat, in the evening out on the porch. add some background tunes and it's the best season. been rocking Grace Potter lately, girl can jam.

Hey; heard that! I'm sittin in the truck at the job, warming up to the notion of getting started.

I can't keep away from the new Blackberry Smoke album; "Whipoorwill".

Amazing songwriting, vocals, guitar, and melodies. That band is gunna go big, once radio figures out how to classify them. Too real for country, too old school for rock.

I have no free time right now, but that'll clear soon. :D

This thread may not be busy but there are some quality respondents! I wanna get back under the covers with you all sans Parker!

I see you're back to the six string av. It's cool. Barn coat, blue jeans, bourbon and a cigar with my feet up and chillin; That the Autumn Happy Hour I'm enjoying right now. Cheers, young man!

Spent a little time with that fine Fender tonight. I was, however resisting urges to imbibe; though now I ponder... why.

Looks to be no rest for the wicked this weekend though; gainful employ beckons on the morrow; whilst Sunday will dawn to me embarking on a hundred mile cycling venture called the Horrible Hundred; so named because it covers the toughest terrain in Florida. ( yes, there is topography here; just not widely scattered)

A week from now though... Rocknuts will be at deer camp in hot pursuit of relaxation.

And drinking.

WELLLL??? How was the bike ride? Did you survive? Are you beat up or ready to rock and roll? I was thinking about you today, and hoping it was a great run!

I survived, yes. I'm moving a tad slow this morning, but oh well! 5 hours and 48 minutes of work in the saddle, and the ride organizers were no doubt sadists. The first really tough climb was only six miles out ( tough as in people were walking) and they put the toughest stuff of all 80 miles in... then just relentless for the last five miles.

The Rocknuts had a nice celebratory dinner, sans children; then returned to our humble abode for hot tub time. And sex.

Not too shabby for a Sunday... I feel I squeezed quite a bit of living into it!
