The more things change...

Not to mention that cheese thing. I mean, how do you make a decent grilled cheese sammich with all those bigass holes in it? You end up just munching on parts that are just grilled bread!

Good lord, what depths of depravity will those pseudo-Gallic/Deutsche swine sink to next?

Don't forget the baby-eating Gods.

Wait, weren't those the Greeks?

.....Ah, well.

It was The Helveti(Swiss) who caused the Roman invasion of Gaul because they migrated close to roman terrortry as they where getting pushed south by germanic tribes. During this campaign Julius Ceasar was supposed to have coined the phrase "I came, I saw, I conqured."
I'm firmly on the side of the Barbarians here. Much of what we know about them was writen by romans and can hardly be neutral.
As for swiss cheese it is a hell of a lot tastier than that processed rubbish from across the pond.

Agreed. Romans were some brutal sons-of-bitches, even considering the era they lived in. One can look at how many large-scale slave revolts they had compared to other nations as an example of that.

Still and all, Gaul bitches had it coming.

...you're one of them, aren't you?

Let me be the first to welcome our New Swiss Overlords. All previous 'agitation' of 'resistance' as expressed in this thread was purely a counterintelligence operation designed with the express intent of identifying potential resistance to your benevolent rule.

*grabs scram bag and bails for Mexico.*

Judging by the news Mexico does not exactly look like a safe place! Maybe Cuba or Canada? Your new Liege is forgiving as long as you promise to eat a pound of Emmentahler and deposit all your money in one of our fine bank institutions.:)

We got bears in Canada. Lots and lots of bears, with big pointy teeth and a taste for human blood. And left wing, liberal, tree hugging, granola eaters. Lots and lots of left wing, liberal, tree hugging, granola eaters, with big pointy teeth and...

Be safe. Think Cuba. Sun, mojitos, cigars...
