OK so again the basic idea is that a very rich person has recreated an ancient roman villa in a seculded plce. It is his retirment home but due to its size and attraction to people he started to rent rooms to people wishing to stay there as long as all the rules are followed.

rule 1: No cell phones or oter data devices. The Resort will keep a phone in the office that peple can call to leave you a message then a servant will deliver it to you.

rule 2: Normal street clothes are not allowed once you check in. YOu will be suppluied with toga's if you did not bring your own.

rule 3: Please enjoy our facilities and would love to have you again.

The huge Roman villa will need staff both male and female, their will be a "seasonal" rotation of shifts working three months straight no real day off then some time off unless you choose to just rotate back in right away.

The staff is required to help maintain the villa as well as be available to the guesses at their whim. This is "Rome" and the staff fills the roles of Roman slaves at their beck and call. The Guests are asked to be respectful and treat the staff nicely as they are still people and can still refuse if they desire.

There will be many rooms for people to stay in as well as a true authentic Roman Bath, no private baths in the whole place unless you luck into it when no one is around. Small gardens with stone paths laid out statues here and there as center pieces. Even a stables for horse back riding and chariot rides.
Some modern things around as well not all of it the "old world". The Kitchen is just like a modern kitchen, the bath has working hot and cold to adjust the overal temperature of the whole thing for everyone, A filter system much like a pool on the bath as well as a drain for a daily cleaning.

Alright thanks for showing an interest in this story everyone.

Servants - just so you know your duties would take up a lot of your day but have your around the guests a lot so plent of oportunity for interaction. When greeting a new guest when they first come to the villa I would like it if you honord an old roman custom of washing the feet of travelers. Other than that just make sure your available and offer your assistance to the Guests. You dont have to be lewd about it maybe a little provacative.

Guests - As before no phone or such when staying here all that stuff checked in at the main desk and places in a vault until you depart. THe servants are at your beck and call no money needed for anything you do while here its a flat rate for coming no matter what you choose to do here. Be kind to the servants please. No marking them or beating them send complaint to the Master of the house, a public punishment if felt neccessary might be done. Who knows Let try and have fun with it


You guys can go ahead and post descriptions of your characters and images if you have them. Still looking for a few more guests before I open the doors.

Having a servant of each sex was the minimum I wanted and we already have that.

Arty​

Arty has one brown eye and one blue eye, she generally wears one contact to hide the blue and the fact she's mostly blind in that eye. She stands around five feet and hates asking for help. She's the stubborn type who likes to do things for themselves and hates pity. Just as well, when she sometimes tries to do things for herself, Arty can land into more of a mess than it started out. Still, the young female is a dedicated worker and finishes everything she starts. The only known way to sway her to do things she usually won't, is to tempt her with yummy treats - treats that she likes. She told the owner about them- but that's because it's the owner. Arty is also not a snitch at all. Nope nope.

Ty took this job because it would be a fun experience. He come from a working class background and was sort of a bad boy when he was younger. There are still some of that in him, but he have matured some.

Being a servant have never sounded as a fun job. Being a servant at this resort did not sound like a bore though. He just hope there will be some eye candy there. At least one of the female servants is quite cute and it doesn't hurt his eyes to ogle her.

I went ahead and posted, even though I had to use my phone. I will get my post edited later and post a picture. I apologize that it was a bit long, but it established an NPC for me. I too hope that we get a lot of folk joining, but right now it is poor little Lefty left alone with three burly men. I thought it best to follow the old BYOG philosophy and bring a gal with me, for now. Otherwise, unless some of use have alternative interests, things are going to become less Roman baths and more Roman gladitorial combat.

If this is not O.K., then I can have Dixie lose their bet and stay in the cab.

June always had "classic" features, and after closing a major deal and experiencing major heartbreak, well she was ready to get away. The idea of being treated like royalty without having to rule, was appealing.
