Romance on the Plane

She had fallen asleep against him and for almost the whole trip all he could do was stroke her and softly kiss her head every now and then. His heart and pretty much settled down and he found he was truly looking forward to their first date. So much so that he couldn't sleep from the excitement. Instead he just watched her, the slight rise and fall of her chest as she breathed, the quiet words as she spoken in her sleep even the slight movements as she adjust for comfort. He watched it all.

Soon the plane landed and she awoke and smoothed her hair. She even spoke, but instead of just replying Kit grabbed her head and kissed her again. The kiss was deep and long. It took everything kit had in him not to push his tongue in her mouth as he slowly stood, pulling her up with him. After a moment he pulled away and looked at her breathlessly.

His kiss left her breathless. She was even firm in her belief that she had not dreamed the whole thing and that their conversation early on the flight did happen. She kissed him back, deeply...loving the way his kiss felt. Finally she pulled back for air and was blushing.

"If we keep that up, everyone on the plane is going to stare at us. " She laughed a little bit. She never acted so carefree before but Kit brought something out in her. She liked him. She didn't care what happened between them the rest of the afternoon, she just knew she liked him and his company.

Kit grinned. "Let them stare. You taste good." HE said smiling. "Come on let's go get that drink." He grabbed her wrist and pulled her along. Right now he wanted nothing more then to spend the rest of his life kissing those delicious lips. Over and over again. He smiled again and almost pulled her in for another kiss. Instead he pulled her close to him and kept moving.

Soon they had entered a coffee shop. A small one in the airport, but a decent coffee shop. Kit grinned and walked up to the register. "I will take a smoothie. Raspberry. Your biggest size. And whatever the lady wants." He said pulling you up beside him and wrapping his arm around your Lower back. Content to leave it sitting right there.

This was kinda crazy for her. They had just met on the plane and here they were acting like some giddy teenagers. She had gotten her heart broken only a few short days ago yet here she was, smiling, staring at Kit. She liked him, more than she liked any man in a very long time. He made her feel beautiful and it was attractive to her that he found her to be sexy.

"Just a small iced coffee for me." She smiled at the barista. She went over to Kit as they waited for the drinks. "What are we doing here...this..." She whispered. They were basically strangers yet here they were kissing on each other as if they had known each other forever. She felt like a nervous teenager with her first crush. She really liked him.

"You heard the lady." Kit said to the Barista before taking a chair. He was so nervous, he began to think that at any moment he would say something stupid and scare her off. He tapped his feet nervously before reaching out to take her hand.

She spoke softly and he smiled. It was wild for him to. He hadn't met a woman on this planet who could make him feel as alive as she did. He was so giddy in her presence that he could have danced.

"We are here because...this is where we are supposed to be. Together. In each others company." He said smiling. He never wanted her to leave. He wanted to be hers and He wanted her to be his.

A few minutes later their drinks were ready. She thanked the lovely barista and brought their drinks over to a nearby table. She had no idea what she was doing. This man was a complete stranger yet by a miracle she liked him and he seemed to like her. The last few days had been pretty rough on her. She thought Rick was going to be the man for her but he was too busy sexing up hot, blonde California women.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, her heart was beating like crazy. His eyes were so charming and wonderful. "I don't usually do this. I don't meet random strangers on the plane. But Kit...I like you a lot." She smiled. "Which is weird for me given the last few days and how shitty they've been."

"I have ridden that plane back and forth for the last two years. I have seen all manner of people on that plane. Heck, I even met a group who wanted me to join the Mile High Club." He paused and looked in her eyes. His heart pounding like a drum "In all those years I have never met someone I could connect with like you. I am so glad I met you. I am also glad that you spoke to me." He paused abstracted out to put his hands on Her's "Don't leave me." He finished. His hands gently rubbing hers.

She had been convinced that Rick was the one for her. She had loved him so completely and they had even done the long distance thing. If they could handle that, she thought they could handle anything. She was starting to see that maybe Rick wasn't meant for her and that Kit was. She was charming and cute and just an over all nice guy. He was probably a few years older but she didn't mind. He stirred up emotions in her that she hadn't felt in a long time.

She leaned her forehead against his. She knew she probably had some stupid smile on her face but she didn't care. She was happy...truly happy...for the first time in ages. "I'm not going anywhere." She told him. She didn't know if they would just be some sort of fling and cut their losses or if this could be something real. She knew he traveled on business and the travel might be hard but it was worth it, she thought...she really liked this man.

They stood together for what felt like hours. Kit though was contentjust to have this woman close to him. He hoped she would be his mate. Maybe he could finally settle down. He looked at her and smiled broadly. "Would you want to have a relationship with a man who travels ofor a living? You would never have to work again." He said smiling

"Think about it. We need to go to a hotel so I can sign in." He said as he looked down at her.

She didn't know what would happen the rest of the evening. Should she go with him...was he inviting her...or would this be the moment when they parted ways. For a stranger she just met on the plane, she felt like she knew him. They connected in a way so strong, a way that she had never experienced before..not even after all those months being with Rick.

"I should let you go...you probably have work to do.." She said, almost sadly. She didn't want him to let him go. He was a little older but that didn't bother her. He made her feel special and beautiful...and he simply took her breath away in ways no other man had ever done. She was almost grateful that Rick broke up with her...if he hadn't broken up with her, she would have never met Kit.

"No you should come with me." He said. He was so ready to be with her forever that if she said no He would probably have died. He wanted her so badly. In every way. Kit smiled and pulled her close. "Unless you don't want to be alone with a guy at his hotel room." I said hinting at what I wanted to do with her.
