Romance vs. Raunch

I just wanted to say Hi to my dear Bash...

... and think that I still believe in romance, quite a bit actually. Was just reading a true stories thing about romantic things a guy has done. One girl was telling this guy friend of hers that she wanted a guy who'd bring her flowers every once in a while. The next day, he came over, dressed up... she opened the door to the car and there were roses on the seat... he said "I'd like to be that guy."

Now, if that isn't romance... Phew... I'm sure this isn't the original intent of the thread... but that struck a chord with me... may have to work that into some of my writing....

Hi Boz....you want a romantic devil? My niece is 11 years old , a real beauty in the making. On Valentine's Day a boy in his class gave her a red rose(he used his allowance) and wrote her a poem (future BD?)....what a charmer he is going to be.

That is so sweet. It's so fun to watch the kids start to show that romantic side. Nice to know there are still some men trained right out there, hmm. LOL

And, I gave up on the Mastery thing... LOL. What does that say about me. And, I just loved that story - struck a chord... something you'd see in a book or movie.

How about some examples of romantic moments? I shall start:

Sharing coffe, thoughts, memories and dreams, under an awning during the rain. The rain forming mysts on our glasses. Oblivious to all but each other. Learning and longing of each other.

bash darlin......what a romantic moment in the rain that must have been.....only thing I can think of to add to a wonderful time like that would be spending an entire weekend exploring, loving, learning of that special person......falling asleep curled up next to him, head on his chest, and waking beside him....to be held, kissed, loved. Every moment spent staring into each others eyes.....holding each other close.....knowing there was no where else you would rather be at this moment.

So glad romance is not dead.......es hun

Bash - ooh, I love the rain. I had this boyfriend (my first love) and I made him a card one time. I cut out all these sayings that I liked from magazines... one was about some lady and it said something about her being so perfect she walked between the drops. I don't know why, but that was something that stuck for the two of us, and he'd say that about me... since then, I've loved the rain.... LOL

Gusty~sorry about posting and running. I am attempting to work occassionally darlin' and I am prone to distraction. Alas, I must times turn my head from these threads.

Boz~we are as ghosts to each other, Sweettart. We keep passing each other but the other is never live. I love the rain as well. I have also found that romance can cause one to act like a child and jump in puddles. LOL.

LOL! were you jumping in puddles recently?? you should be careful that they aren't deeper than you expect and end up with more than you expected.....all wet and cold
