Ropework photos

Luuuuna - Show him, and give him my e-mail address. I'm serious, I'll educate. I'm probably going to be doing a demo for our munch grou at some point in the next few months. It would help me to have some practice teaching basic ropework prior to that.

northwoods_sub - I was actually thinking of you when I wrote that, sweety. The bunny in that series is obviously a pretty slender gal, and I had a lot of fun with that. Her breasts in particular really did give me oppurtunities for different sorts of work.

The pics came thru beautifully. And wonderful work, especially the "upside down curly queds knots" on her ass cheeks.

Your hands show not only the strength of the Dom but the gentleness of One who knows the bottom has her complete trust in Him.

Nope. We were just going for looks there, rather than effect. The Kitty was taking some pics for her photography class. Since it's a film class, I had her snap a few pics with the el cheapo digital cam because, since I'd sat there while she did it, I wanted the immediate gratification of seeing what it looked like. :D

Ah, I gotcha. There is very little immediate gratification to intricate rope bondage. This is the specific problem many people have with it.

My buddy AP keeps talking about learning it because, well, he sees how much mileage I get off of it. I keep telling him "You have all the patience of a rhesus monkey with a hard-on and a fistful of crack cocaine. No." :rolleyes:

Really cool rope work there. I know nothing about rope, so I can't comment nor probably appreciate your work to its worth, but it sure looks pretty.

Everytime I see pics of some rope bunny smilling like this one is, I get green with envy that I just can't take rope on me. Stupid body-control-freak issues.

And dewd, that IS a hawt bunny. wow.

I wish, more than anything, that I had the patience for rope bondage, both as a Top and a bottom. But, God knows, patience is not on my short list of virtues. Bondage is a beautiful thing, but I could live the rest of my life without being tied up. I sorta consider it a necessary evil, something to put up with, to get onto the more "fun" parts. Is that bad? :confused:

*shrug* Everyone has their own thing. Intricate rope bondage is not for everyone. Some people lack the patience, some lack the ability to hold still, others have body control issues. I don't begrudge anyone that lacks the capacity to really enjoy it as a participant (Top or bottom). It would be like looking down on someone that doesn't like to eat popcorn. Okay, so it's a lot more meaningful to me than popcorn, but you get my point.

Let's face it, AP is my loyal Sith Apprentice, and I'm not willing to teach him this particular skill. He lacks the patience. I'll teach him basic stuff (everybody should know a little bit), but until he shows me proper patience, no Kinbaku.

No, rida-chan, I can't say that I'm tired of people enjoying my work. It makes me happy to see that folks like what I do =)

And I am certainly not tired of hearing compliments about the young lady I worked with. Hopefully she'll appreciate them when I tell her about them.

The trust and connection really was the best part about the whole thing. To be frank, with my intimacy issues, I was honestly afraid that I would not be able to really enjoy scening with someone I did not know. Totally not the case. It doesn't matter if I know them or not. all that matters is whether or not I feel some sort of emotional connection. Sounds cheesy, but I don't mind. I'm not here to look like uber-Top :D

Okay, first thing to remember is that I did it all sorts of wrong there. I basically put it on backwards. No huge error, but I feel like it looks better with the larks head in the front and the hitche sin the back. And, for some reason ("v" still swears I was distracted) I completely dorked up the hitch. Luckily the "exposing the cherry" work on her ass was good enough to salvage the tie, but it is still a trainwreck in the front.

Personally I chalk it up to not being mentally prepared to do the tie, and just sort of tossing it on there at the request of our host. It had noooothing to do with distraction. Nothing!

As to sites, the crotchrope is a very common tie. Most of the tutorial sites out there have something on it. You might try Nawashibari Dojo as James' tutorial there was one of the first ones I used, and still one of my favourites.
