Rough Diamond

Will fell into the arms of a woman sat next to him - I drew my pistol and limped forward yelling at the natives to get away from him

Molly kicked him off, and translated what Cole was saying. She looked over her shoulder and thew him her shot gun. "Bigger holes," she replied.

I caught the gun but threw it back - I looked at Will 'this is for my wife' and shot him in the stomach. 'You finish him Molly - just make sure you keep his face for the reward' and I turned my back - to walk back to the tree

Molly looked down at Will who was barely breathing. "Ya know, I was supposed to bring you in alive, to get a bounty, but I'm sure they'll understand," she smiled and tilted her head to the side, taking her gun and shooting him. Well, no where that would instantly kill him. "I'm sure the natives here will enjoy dealing with you." She kicked his guns away. "Bye!"

I reach the tree - after hearing the gunshot. Tears streaming down my face I punch the dead tree and then the pain in my leg hits me.

I fall slumped against the tree watching in the direction of the camp

Molly followed after him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Hey, it's over," she whispered soothing in her ear. She ran her hand through her hair, and then wiped a few tears off his face. "Hey, come on, where's the big bad stranger that I know?" She kissed his forehead. She never did tell him to stop crying.

her arms around me - its a lie.

I look up the tears still coming 'it's OK Molly - you can turn me in now. I don't care anymore'

Molly cocked her head to the side and then pushed away from him. "You asshole!" she cursed at him. "You-you asshole!" It appeared she was at a loss for words. She raised her hand to hit him and then put it down. "You promised you'd take me out of here. You said that you'd show me other towns" She looked forward to it. She actually did. "You know, I wasn't going to turn you in."

I looked at her shocked 'you'd come with me? Why Molly?' I smiled and tried to get up - reaching up to caress her face

'I'd love to do that and you're right a promise is a promise'

Molly gave him cold eyes. "It's time I left home anyway," she said, shrugging. But slowly her eyes were warming again. "Well, get off your sorry horse and let's go! I got enough cash to last me... quite a long time." The reason for all that money? Molly, if anything, was stingy and careful with what she bought.

She helped him stand and put her hands on her hips. "You better keep your promise!"

as she lifted me I promised again -'lets go south somewhere warm... - may I?' I looked into Mollys eyes

Molly tilted her head. "Uh... sure?" she really had no idea what he was talking about. "Hm, not too hot though... I'm sorta getting sick of the hot heat."

I lean in and kiss her - full on the lips - long and lingering. 'thanks you Molly.' I look down blushing then back up at her 'how about the plains - I hear that's fairly good - not too hot not too cold '

Molly froze, her eyes widening. But she did nothing to reject or push him away. Then again, she didn't do anything. After he broke away, she blinked dumbly, not really there. "Yeah... plains... good choice..." She put her hand to her lips, clearly still in shock.

"Never again- oh," Molly tilted her head. "I don't like mixing business with pleasure." Her stomach growled. "Man, I'm hungry."

Molly nodded and sat down, finding her bag of food next to said tree. She pulled out some bread and smiled. "Hehe," she said. "I have bread." She broke it in half, giving the bigger of the two pieces to him.

I sat beside her smiling - 'thank you Molly - I'm not sure if I could have done that without you.' I passed her a bag - $200 inside

'where to first? A town or a city? Your choice'

"Hmm, I've never been to a city," she said, taking a bite of the bread. She didn't look at the bag but placed it on her lap. "Which is better?"

'Depends on what you wanna do - towns are smaller - fewer lawmen, fewer risks and quieter. Cities are big and crowded but you can do almost anything...'

'your choice.'

"City," she said nodding. "I wanna go to the city. Mama promised to take me once. Never did pull through." She shrugged and shoved the rest of her bread into her mouth. Her cheeks puff out.

'City it is then, we'll need to get back to town, get my leg fixed and get on the train - get you some clothes too - maybe say bye to your sister?'

Molly opened her mouth then closed it, opened again and closed it once more. "Oh, right. I forgot about my sister," she said, crossing her arms. "Eh, I don't wanna say good bye to her. That would mean I would never see her again and that would be a lie."

I smiled, 'fine - lets take a direct route - which wayis North?'

'the lines cross there - we'll follow them until we hit civilisation, then I'll get you dressed like a lady!'

I laughed at her expression
