Roughing It

Cameron bit her tongue while Griz put a bandaid on her booboo. The disinfect stung, but she wasn't going to crumble under a little stinging -- not when he was responsible for her losing the business deal of her life. Maybe she could add tetanus to the list of injuries acquired while he was supposed to be in control.

She just couldn't help herself when he took up the cloth and the needle and thread, though. "All wrong? Are you a member of the Elves Shoemaking Guild or something? Or is this something you learned along with Basketmaking 101 at that special place where everyone dressed in white uniforms?"

He grumbled something that she didn't quite hear in response. Lucky for him, she thought and felt the remnant of her skirt and her blouse to see if they were any dryer. Cam wiggled. Her thong was riding up between the cheeks of her butt and the fact that they were still wet wasn't helping matters.

"Hey, Griz," she called over her shoulder. "Where's the toilet paper?"

His grumbling turned to a low chuckle. "Use leaves. We're all out of Charmin. Just watch out for the snakes."

"Snakes??"

"Uh huh. See?"

Cameron looked where he was pointing and swore. There was a squiggly outline in the soft earth that was obviously the track of a snake. Son of a bitch! She hadn't even noticed that. Maybe he wasn't such a dummy after all.

Rodger looked up at Ms. Wright, wrapped in a barely long enough jacket and dripping wet and simply shook his head. "I can watch you if you'd like."

She scoffed at him.

"I'll let you finish the shoes, but sewing these tighter might help a bit," he said.

"Right. Where are we sleeping tonight?" she asked, still looking at the snake trail.

"I've got a tent. It'll be a tight squeeze but it'll have to do. Keeps the snakes out anyways."

Ms. Wright shuddered again at the mention of the snakes.

"Don't worry Ms. Wright, I don't bite as hard as they do."

She turned to glare at him. "Maybe I do," she retorted, "so shut up you and finish making dinner."

At this she stalked off into the woods, staring at the ground the whole way.

Cam wasn't gone long, snakes being one of the few things that ever made her really shudder. Wouldn't it be a bitch if she survived this plane crash and figured a way to save the deal he'd blown for her only to be bitten by a frigging snake. Yup. Yet another thing to add to the steadily growing lists of things she would be seeking reparations for.

Her makeshift shoes were finished by the time she got back to Griz and she put them on gratefully. "Not bad. Not bad at all," she said. "Even if making them was my idea." Somehow, she just couldn't curb her tongue. It just made her furious to think that he hadn't the faintest clue of the financial havoc he'd just wreaked on her with his incompetence. And no. She wasn't about to explain any of this to a cretin.

"Dinner is done, Ms. Wright."

Cameron glanced up at him suspiciously. Had he just used a British accent? Was he mocking her now? What the hell!! They wouldn't even be in this situation if it hadn't been for him. "Thank you, Jeeves. I'll dine al fresco tonight. And a nice riesling would be lovely."

Griz sniggered and pointed toward a canteen. "White would have been my choice also. In fact, I tested the creek water while you were in the... ladies' room. It's potable. Drink up. When we get going tomorrow we're going to have to ration it. No way of knowing how long it will take us to get... "

Suddenly she wasn't very hungry, but knew she had to eat to keep her strength. All she wanted to do was crawl into that tent and sleep. When she woke up, Cam was sure she'd find that it had all been a bad dream and the plane was now approaching the airport, ready to land.

"Dish it up, Emeril, then lets take care of the tent. It does have a floor at least, doesn't it?"

Rodger grabbed one of the tin plates and plopped the noodles onto it unceremoniously and handed them to Ms. Wright. "It does have sort of a tarp we can put on the ground Ms. Wright, but the sleeping bag will be a tight enough fit to keep anything other than us out.

"What did you say?" said Ms. Wright, taking the plate from him and staring at it.

Rodger dug in the bag and took out a fork and handed it to her. "Is that what you were looking for?"

She took the fork from him and then sat for a moment longer. "What was that about a sleeping bag?" she said, starting to poke at her food, "We only have one?"

"I'm afraid so Ms. Wright. Don't worry though, I'll make sure to shower before I come to bed. Do you prefer right or left?"

She smirked at him and put a forkfull in her mouth.

Rodger arose. "Speaking of which Ms. Wright, I'm going to head on down to that creek. You'll be all right up here for a bit?"

Ms. Wright just glared at him with her mouth full and he smiled at her and walked into the trees.

"Irish Creek... the manly soak," Cameron grumbled under her breath. At least she wouldn't need a gas mask.

She ate slowly, the realization that this might be her last hot meal in a very long time finally beginning to sink in. If she ever got back to civilization, Cameron swore she'd never eat anything with cream or noodles ever again. IF. Christ! What she'd give for a compass -- Griz probably didn't have the first idea how to use the sun as a focal point. He did crash his plane, after all. Cam sighed. Just another thing to add to her list. "And then, as if almost killing me wasn't enough, he got us lost, Your Honor."

Finished with the gourmet cuisine he'd so judiciously provided, Cam decided to fill his plate for when he returned, only to find that he had given her the lion's portion. In fact, there was very little left at all. "Shit!" she swore aloud, angrier than ever. "Why'd you have to go and do something nice after all the horrible things you've done so far."

Cameron tried to remember if she had seen any berries or edible plantlife when she'd gone back to pee. Frig! She'd been too busy watching for snakes. Maybe she'd take another look while he was rinsing off the stink.

Setting her empty plate down beside the low burning fire, she headed back into the woods. There had to be something. She couldn't just let the guy starve to death. She'd never get out of here that way... or hope to collect in court.

********

It took her a while, but she had found some low growing blueberry bushes, and picked a goodly amount. Her luck, he was probably allergic. Even so, she used her blouse to carry them back -- the ones she didn't eat while she picked, anyway.

It was coming on sunset when she returned to their camp. Griz -- to his credit -- had put up the... well, he called it a tent, but they might do better to sleep outdoors and use it as a cover. The way she saw it, there wouldn't be room to swing a cat, let alone roll over. Good thing she didn't toss and turn, although Cam was positive he probably did.

He looked up at her, something akin to anger in his eyes. "Where have you... "

Before she could answer, he was laughing. A low rumble of a laugh that came from somewhere deep inside. What was he laughing at. Damn that man! He really knew how to piss her off.

"Berries?"

"How'd you know?" She squinted at him suspiciously. Had he followed her without her hearing? He'd have to be pretty good to do that. No, it couldn't be that.

Suddenly a light bulb came on in her head. Somebody was home. Cameron touched her fingers to her lips in embarrassment. The berries were small but juicy -- she must be covered with purple. "Oops!" Despite trying to resist, she grinned back at the same time wishing she'd not been such a pigotch and taken better care to eat them neatly.

"I brought you some, too."

Rodger shook his head and tried not to grin. For such a whiny bitch, that was a downright nice thing to do.

Taking the berries from her he popped a few in his mouth and savored the sweet juice for moment before swallowing them. "Thanks very much Ms. Wright, though you've got a little something there," he said, miming a wiping motion on his lips.

She blushed a wiped her lips. "They're sticky," was all she said.

"Well, I may have used up all the hot water, but you can go down the creek and clean up while I set up the tent."

She blushed again and Rodger walked passed her and began to dig in the bag. "I promise I won't peak," he said, speaking away from her. When he didn't get a response he turned and saw her staring at him. Seeing him look she turned her head quickly and walked through the trees down to the creek.

Cameron washed quickly, using sand from the creek bed as an abrasive and paying more attention to her mouth and chin than to her fingers which were plain evidence that the deep purple stains were here to stay -- at least for the next little while. Sighing, she combed her fingers through her hair and tried to get a glimpse of herself in the water without any luck. Hell with it, she thought. The worse she looked when they returned to civilization the better her court case would turn out.

Returning to the campsite, she noted that Griz was inside the tent doing something. "Checking for snakes, I hope" she said in his general direction as she checked to see how dry her blouse was now. Still slightly damp, but even so it would be a far sight more comfortable to sleep in that than her suit jacket. Grabbing it, she stepped out of the clearing to put it on before he re-emerged.

She was just finished buttoning up when he called out to her. "All set, Princess... and you'll be glad to know that I've removed all the peas from under your mattress as well."

"Toad!" Cam retorted, stepping out from the cover of the trees. "Or is that frog, Prince?"

The corner of his mouth twitched ever so slightly followed by an arching eyebrow. "Got your nightie on, have you?"

Cameron looked down. She hadn't put the jacket back on, but the blouse was long. Man-tailored in a feminine sort of way... it covered what needed covering at any rate and she shrugged. "I hope you remembered to bring your jammies, too."

"I sleep naked" was his curt response.

"Not tonight you don't. Wouldn't want you to get a chill or... anything. Now I'm going to bed, if you don't mind. And gods, I hope you don't snore."

Though Rodger tried to avoid looking at Ms. Wright as she crawled into the tent, when she bent over he couldn't help but notice that she wasn't wearing any panties and that her ass and well groomed pubic area were in view. Groaning slightly he looked only for a moment and then away, trying not to think about this royal bitch, who happened to have the most gorgeous body he had ever seen, sleeping next to him. Her round ass was dancing in him mind, however, when he removed his pants and shirt to crawl into the tent after her.

Trying to hide a growing erection at seeing Ms. Wright laid out on the floor of the tent he quickly unzipped the sleeping bag on his side and slid in. It was a double size, big enough for he and a passenger, should something like this happen, but it still only replicated a twin size bed. The closeness to Ms. Wright immediately aroused his senses again and he rolled over to face away from her, miming doing something to the gear on his side of the tent.

"Sleep well Ms. Wright," he said, fumbling around in the bag, "I imagine tomorrow we will be able to gather up and find a way out of here. I certainly hope that this didn't inconvenience you too much. I apologize if it did."

There was a silence on the other side of the sleeping bag and Rodger hoped she had fallen asleep already.

Feigning sleep, Cameron tried to edge away as far as was physically possible within the confines of the sleeping bag, praying for release from the horrors of the day. Her mind was a whirlwind of thoughts, most of them at the lost business opportunity she'd worked so hard for. Truth, she was already successful in her own right and this deal wouldn't make or break her, but it would have been nice. Better than nice. It would have been...

Her thoughts turned toward litigation for damages. A couple mill oughta cover it nicely -- Mike Chandler was brilliant when it came to that sort of stuff. Then again, where was Griz gonna get a few mill, let alone a few? He must be insured, surely. Then again, for how much? He was a small-timer, Cam thought. She'd never collect. Was it worth all the agitation in the end? What she got would probably barely cover the attorney fees. Yes! It was more than worth it. He was an incompetent cretin and needed to recompense her for...

Oh, fuck it! She'd think about it when she got back to civilization. If she got back. Mentally and physically exhausted, Cameron Wright finally drifted off into a fitful sleep.

"Please, Mister. Can't you even spare a frigging buck?" she called angrily after yet another person who had ignored her outstretched hand as she stood on the corner panhandling. "I used to be richer than you, mother fucker! I had it all! I was Queen of the Hill! This could be you one day!"

"Yeah, yeah. But look at you now, bag lady. Get a job!" The man called back over his shoulder as he picked up his pace to widen the distance between them.

She had half a mind to ram her shopping cart right into that asshole, but the cat and her kittens would be hurt. Oh, wait! Here came another guy. Maybe she'd get lucky. Smoothing her hands over the shabby floral-printed dress she wore as if she were dressed for the theater instead of begging outside one, Cameron Wright combed her fingers through her hair and extended her hand yet again. "Hey, Mister. Got some spare change?"

The rest of the evening passed in much the same way. Some gave, most ignored and many either laughed or verbally abused her. All in all though, she'd made a good catch -- a whole $5.82 it looked like as she sat counting it all out in her cubby behind the dumpster. It would feed the cats and get her a couple bottles of Thunderbird to ease her aching bones and wipe away the memories of another time and place.

Pulling off one grungy stocking, she tucked it deep into the toe before sliding it back on and replacing the sturdy shoe she'd gotten from a friend down by the bridge who didn't make it. Gertie wouldn't be needing them anymore and why waste a perfectly good pair of shoes, Cam always said, remembering when...

She jolted upright, peering into the darkness. Her heart pounding and her body bathed in sweat, Cam tried to figure out where she was and what she was doing there. Certainly not in an alleyway. Certainly not wearing a dead woman's shoes.

Cam screamed as someone grabbed her. "I don't have anything! Go away! NOOOO!" Flailing her arms wildly, she fought him off, but he only held her tighter and more firmly. She had to get away! Unable to break free, she thrust her body forward, knocking them both over with herself on top.

Gotta get away. Gotta get away.

"It's okay. It's okay. It was just a dream. It's... "

She could feel his breath against her cheek as he tried to soothe her. Not real? It was a dream? Was any of it real?

Desperate to regain a sense of reality, she fought back the hiccuping gulps that articulated the fears which had been embodied in the dream. The fear of being without. The fear of failure. Most of all the fear of being... alone. Fiercely determined to reassure herself on some cerebral level that her terror wasn't valid, wasn't possible, and that there was no chance of it ever coming to fruition, Cam sought his mouth hungrily.

His muscles rippled beneath her hands as she kneaded them, raking his skin with her nails. She was heedless to his initial protests, knowing only her own desire. She needed something real. Something tangible. Something sound. "Fuck me, Griz," she demanded as one hand moved between them to feel his burgeoning erection through the silk of his boxers. "Fuck me hard."

Rodger froze at these words and could hardly feel Ms. Wright's hand run over his boxers as he worked the words over in his head.

After a few moment's, however, he felt himself being pushed down on the sleeping bag as Ms. Wright began to lick and bite his collar bone and crawl on top of him. Almost unconsciously he ran his hands down her back and began to pull her down on him before he felt her skin contact his and he tried to squirm away again.

"Ms. Wright, I think, um...." Rodger stammered as this woman ravaged him in the small sleeping bag. He was speechless and his brain had hardly bothered to try and comprehended what was going on.

It was at this point that Rodger realized his eyes had been closed and it occurred to him briefly that he may be dreaming and that if he opened his eyes everything would be all right. However, he didn't know at what point he began dreaming. Would he wake up in the tent? The plane? Alone in his bed? Worse? Rodger opened his eyes.

The site he was greeted with told him none of this was a dream. Ms. Wright, half naked with her top hanging open revealing the most perfect pair of breasts Rodger had ever seen and the longest legs he had ever touched squeezing around him as he lay underneath.

Staring at her Rodger was once again at a loss for words, and action, and could do nothing but lay there and let her have her way...

Cameron, oblivious to everything save for her single-minded, blinding need for release, tore at Rodger's boxers, freeing his cock. Her fingers circling its girth, she sat up, shrugging the sleeping bag off her back to give herself more freedom of movement. "It's lovely," she murmured, stroking it as she raised up onto her knees and guided him into the slickness of her greedy cleft.

She used him like a toy, running the head of his erection over her clit; circling softly, then harder. Needier. Faster. Cam teased them both, positioning him at her entrance, letting it slip in just barely before moving it away to play some more. She grabbed his hand, guiding it to her breast, moaning when he took both, tweaking, tugging and pinching at her erect nipples.

So close, so very close... Her hips gyrated over Rodger's body as she masturbated herself using his cock. Growling, mewling, murmuring unintelligible sounds proclaiming her lustful appetite. Cam stiffened, drawing in her breath and tensing before she finally felt herself swept away by the crashing waves of her orgasm, her entire body shaking with the force of it.

Crying out, Cameron brought his cock to her entrance and lowered herself swiftly, engulfing him within her convulsing depths before she had finished. "Now!" she demanded as he bucked up into her sodden sheath. "Fuck me. Now!!"

Rodger's hands moved down her body to her slim waist, balancing her as she threw her head back and rode him wildly, frantically, fiercely. Grinding against his pelvic bone as she came down hard to meet his every upward thrust, she urged him on with licentious abandon, insatiably poised for her next orgasm.
