"PITSTOP"

Hey Xander!....On your way to SD,
make a stop in Michigan, and I'll give ya all the boxes of spare parts that my boys left here.

I'm sure you'll find a couple of ROUND wheels to hide in your pocket,so when M.M.slips you a Flintstone wheel you'll be ready to hit the pits and change them in no time flat.(LOL)

And down in T.J. just remember "DON'T DRINK THE WATER!" Waaahaahaahaa!

There's a great little shopping center along the water, can't remember the name offhand...

Fisherman's Warf? Or is that in Frisco?

It's Horton Plaza. All of downtown SD is pretty stroll-worthy - the Gaslamp district, Horton Plaza, the Museum, the Convention Center area... Plus, there's the bohemian atmosphere of Hillcrest, the elegance of La Jolla and Del Mar, the surfer cool of Encinitas, Solana Beach, and Cardiff...all the fun antique shops and little restaurants in Carlsbad. In the east, the world-famous Palomar Observatory, or the apple-pie heaven of Julian. There's Tijuana and Rosarito Beach, a mere hour to the north. Hollywood - with Rodeo Drive, Melrose Avenue, Sunset Blvd, and the Santa Monica Pier - and Orange County - home to Disneyland & Knotts Berry Farm - lie another hour or so to the west. All the culture you could ever ask for. A million opportunities for fun.

Actually Laurel, I think she was referring to....

:p

Sea Port Village, which is at the sea. It is a great place. And dont forget Balboa Park.

Yes! I just went to dig out my San Diego map after Laurel's post and you beat me to it. Sea Port Village is exactly the place I was thinking of. Great place to lose yourself for hours.
