Nebraska won't let ya drop off your older kids anymore. I tried takin' him to the pound and say he was a stray but Nancy didn't believe me. I guess I'm stuck.

My son had immpeccable manners as a youngster. But he had a wicked sense of humor and as he got older he was a step away from being a smart ass. He always made sure people understood what he meant without saying it.

He still yes yes ma'am to me. Then cusses me out after he hangs up.

I jsut may trade, college will be cheaper than when mine go, and there is nothing like a three year-old saying "Daddy, get my cup at 5:45 in the morning.

We have failed royally with the ma'am and sir thing.

It's not too late. If Victoria Stillwell from It’s Me or the Dog can train dogs in a couple of weeks, you can teach your son.

In every class I taught students had to say ma'am to me. Those who refused or balked in the beginning found it a very unpleasant place to be. I also demanded please and thank you and expected the boys to hold the door for me or the girls. The girls had to thank them. Parents often read my comments and wondered who I was talking about.

When we were out on field trips, people always complimented them. Several times the school received letters or calls as did the main office about how polite and well-behaved the kids were.

LOL At least he waits until he hangs up.

Last night I overheard him in the other room say to his older sister "She's a Mutha Fucka." T replied with, "No, I think that's dad."

Yeah you can chain them up like a dog when they don't listen.
