Something about religion........

When I started teaching, we could teach religious songs in school as long as they were in the music book and there were a lot in the book. No one complained. Oh, the good old days.

Our public school still sings religious songs during programs, I asked the band and choir directors how they get by with that and their comment was, "We're gonna keep doing it until someone complains and then we'll do it again until they take us to court...then we'll have to stop."

I agree with their thinking. Some of the best songs of our culture are based on religion.

Surprisingly enough there's quiet a few families here that I thought would complain about it but don't. I always enjoy the middle school and high school Christmas concerts because they are all religious songs.

I do too. The ACLU is full of poop.

Try super glue or a needle and thread.

I can sew but zipper's have never been my strong point. I flunked home ec because Sister Crawford said the zipper on my dress looked like it was done by a 2 year old.

God she was a bitch.

Don't sew the zipper, sew the skin of their lips together! On second thought, use the super glue.

Zippers were the hardest part of sewing to me too. Fortunately in 8th grade we made skirts without zippers.

There's got to be a way to get those lil fuckers in easier than I tackle but I've never figured it out.

My mother taught me how to do it. I haven't sewn in years, in fact my sewing machine is in the storage room. At one time I did a lot of sewing in the summer. :D

I haven't sewn in a few months. Last project I did was matching purses for T and all her friends.
