All that I did was try to remeber all year long when she mentioned she liked something or that was her favorite,what is was and supriae her with it on her
special day. Yes,shocking that us men do kisten. Alomg with those things,
I took her out for dinner and celebrating since we didnt know what the
approachung storm would bring. Today, I made breakfast,lunch and dinner
and let her relax 9 you know rhat word,dont you?:D) It all wnded up
greay with a big supriae tonight! She had mentioned yesterday.a desert she loves. I smiled to myself,knowing I had purxhased it a couple hours earlier.
After spending the last day and a 1/2 together,she cant figure out how I was
able to have it. I tried to serve that,on the minute the world became a better place,the minute she entered the world.
However,the one gift I wish I could give her but couldnt was taking away her sadness today. This day was her first birthday.since her mom passed away.
She couldnt get or receive her usual birthday call. They were pretty close,
since she was an only child and it has been only the two of them for a long long time. I even think she misses me thanking her mom every year for bringing shch a wonderful woman into the world and hearing her mom
say Gag me with a spoon.:eek:

Those first anniversaries are hard after losing someone dear, but it's always easier to get through them with someone that you love.

Sounds like you made her day very special.

I called her number last night and she scolded me for 'using some expensive crap that don't work as well as her stuff.'

No snow here! What little was left was washed away by the rain. Don't envy me just yet. Tonight the temperature is going to drop to a low of 16 tomorrow and a low of 7 on Sunday. :(

I was corrected. There's not 12" out there...it's only 8". :rolleyes:

Well...there's another storm moving in tomorrow and going to give us another 1" with winds....won't that be fun??!!


I guess we don't have to worry about having a black Christmas here.
