LOL...if they're getting caught in manglers, they're big enough :D

Good to hear your daughter is standing up and saying something, too many people are prepared to let things like that go by these days. :)
She's doing it in honor of her mother who rode the short bus!

Oohhh, I get it now....my dad always used to tell me about a similar bus he had to take in Scotland as a child... :)
Several of my students had very few kids on their routes and they were given a little bus! Everyone, including the teacher, teased them about riding the short bus. It was a hoot since two of my brightest kids rode that bus.

Of course the teacher was a two fries short of a happy meal.

LOL....well in my dad's case he was actually on a bus for slower kids...he was sick for long periods as a child and fell behind in his schooling and got held back

One of my best years teaching, I had 24 7th graders and all but a handfull had repeated the 3rd or 4th grade. I didn't know until long after the year started. I was entering new information on their permanent records and happened to notice that my best student had repeated the 3rd grade.

I am not too bad, you ready for the upcoming holidays.
I'm not doing anything special so I'm ready. I've purchased gifts for my youngest niece and nephew and they're the only ones who count.

Yeah, it happens a lot here too. My dad never got his leavers certificate though, he left to work as a butchers apprentice instead.

He did alright though :)
