SCOTUS - Impeach or ??

Or Trump wins and he packs it with some judge from a trial tv show, any of his former lawyers, some guy with a law degree whose daddy donated to the campaign, etc.

All the specific names I could think of are past 70. I would be surprised if he nominates Andrew Napolitano.
Donald Trump will not be able to get new judges confirmed without the Senate.

And really, how would they get past the confirmation hearings now since they lie during the hearings...

Confirmation hearing 2005: "“I believe that no one is above the law under our system and that includes the president. The president is fully bound by the law, the Constitution, and statutes.” -John Roberts

Confirmation hearing 2006: “There is nothing that is more important for our republic than the rule of law. No person in this country, no matter how high or powerful, is above the law.” -Samuel Alito

Confirmation hearing 2018: “No one’s above the law in the United States, that’s a foundational principle…. We’re all equal before the law…. The foundation of our Constitution was that…the presidency would not be a monarchy…. [T]he president is not above the law, no one is above the law.” -Brett Kavanaugh

I'm not sure those charts are accurate. The Youngers seems to be the assholish bunch supporting the Orangutan.

The going beyond the US, look at the EU, UK, France, Italy ... the Youngers there are more radical.

This 'JoJo' whoever must be reading my posts here.

And you think those are lies? After the justices determined that Biden's eviction moratorium was unlawful (but he did it again anyway after saying he knows he doesn't have the authority)? And that Biden cancelling Student Debt was unlawful (but he did it again anyway)? Or that Trump couldn't eliminate DACA with a new exec order? Or any of the other things those same justices said that Trump couldn't do?

And now that those justices have determined that the President is immune from criminal prosecution (not just Trump) for the things he does in office, you suddenly seem to think that all of the statements whereby those same justices believe in equal justice and that the Constitution reigns supreme were "lies"? Because you think it only applies to Trump?

You need help.

There’s a good case to be made to begin impeachment proceedings against Roberts and Kavanaugh right now on the grounds they lied to Congress.

So, more lawfare? Because you don't like a legal decision?

None of the sitting justices made any promises about how they would rule in any actual or hypothetical cases, none lied during their confirmation hearings, the House is not going to initiate impeachment proceedings, and even if a future Democrat-controlled House did impeach, the outcome would be the same as the last three partisan impeachments - Senate acquittal.
