Lance was sitting in his basement, logged on to WoW. His monstrous melee based fighter had just leveled adn he was literally wandering around checking out the hot elves, how lame.
He glanced out the sliding glass door, he could see the lights adn barely hear the loud music playing next door. It was Ashley's party, she was back form her boarding school, having graduated like himself, but unlike himself everyone seemed to care about her. No matter how much he denied it, he cared about her too. They had been friends since the 3rd grade, next dor neighbors, secret santa's, adn one time she had actually kissed his cheek. As lame as all that was, it was the best thing that had ever happened to him.
He hadn't even seen her in the four years she had been gone, but she had been beautiful when she left, and he could only imagine what she looked like now. In fact he had, he had fantasized about it several times today alone
He stood up, stretching his lithe frame, having actually gotten a bit of a physique, since his dad bought hi a few weights and he was no longer a bean pole, but in the standards of high school, getting a little buff after years of geekdom didn't matter. He stood up and walked over to the glass door, catching glimpses of people moving back and forth. Apparently her folks were glad she was home, throwing her a party. His had left for a 3 week cruise, leaving him home alone.
