He absolutely is, supported gay marriage LONG before anyone in the DNC did and is nowhere near as "hard on crime" as the prisons for profit Clinton was. Also pro-pot LONG before Clinton pulled the stick out of his ass about it.

Otherwise as far as economics and nationalism go they're nearly identical. Trump is a more socially inclusive Bill Clinton, that puts Trump slightly to the left of Billy C.
