Secret Santa Opening Thread!

Okay,

Starting with a lovely deep purple note in an envelope with little gold snowflakes and angels. The note is written in a silvery/shimmery pen and stenciled with snowflakes. Jen is my Secret Santa!

Three packages wrapped in silver paper with white and blue snowflakes and crowned with little blue bows. :cathappy: (I've always adored the silver and blue for Christmas.)

Package one: Hmmm, a tin with German writing on it. But I don't speak German! Whatever could Fruchtgummi mean? :D They smell heavenly.

Package two: A mini Zen rock garden! How appropriate as I'm just taking up meditation with a serious intent.

Package three: Kirigami - Fold & Cut-a-day calendar. What fun!

I'm heading to the hospital in a few hours... well, several after I get some sleep, but there was NO way I was going to be able to hold off till I got out of recovery to open mine....

I can't find my camera, but thanks to buxxxom!!!!! :kiss: :rose: :kiss: She got me a windchime. :D I collect them. It's beautiful! :D An urn of apples. It's quite heavy and chimes beautifully. I love it. When I can I'll get a picture of it, using my kids' camera. lol

Thank you!!!!!!!! I'll be hanging it in a special place in my new home.

Okay, this is cool . . . "Einstein's Cosmos" by Michio Kaku. I actually saw this book about a year ago and nearly bought it. Good thing I didn't. Way cool! Thanks . . . .

Except, I still don't know who my Secret Santa is. :(

Glad you got something you like! I love mine! and the kids will love the bubble warp and the cats will fight over ownership of the boxes - everybody wins!

It wasn't me, I can honestly say that. Though I do have to say I forgot to say who I was, well I did in a round about way but only a few people would know it was me...

All I have is a last name and the city where it's from (which, obviously, I won't share), and I suspect my SS is female. I know where most of the AHers who signed up live, so my choices have been narrowed down.

I'd just like to thank them properly. ;)
