Secret Santa Opening Thread!

I could not have asked for a better gift.

I asked for something with a little bit of the sender in the gift, and boy did I receive it!

But first, the packaging, which was über cute!

Notice the granola bar?! :D Someone knows me TOO well! (Or was it that he had some "help" with that one?! ;) )

And then, the opening. A lovely frame with three, beautiful, artsty photos from one of my favorite photographers, Cheerful Deviant. (If any of you have a chance, I recommend his photo thread. Lots of industry/geomteric/amazing stuff there!)

I have it on my shelf on my desk so I can look at it often and smile. :)

I'm pleased as punch! I've been very fortunate to receive such a wonderful, personal gift ... I'm truly touched by such a warm, heartelt gift, and I don't care if the world knows it. CD, you rock my world!

P.S. There was a note, too, but ... some things should just remain personal. Suffice it to say, CD has a killer signature. ;)

You're welcome Mrs. D

I opened my gift just now at the urging of my SS.

The box has been sitting on my desk forever and not once did I want to open it early.

Inside is a gorgeous pair of 1/4 carat Diamond, 10KT Gold Stud Earrings from a Special Secret Santa.

Thank you Tom :rose:

My Secret Santa gift is upstairs and I don't want to wake anyone, so I'll wait until tomorrow morning to open mine.

I lost my good pocket knife a week or so ago. That or my Secret Santa stole it. I'm joking but I am glad that Skip sent me a replacement of Christmas. A nice compact Buck that's also a bottle opener. Hey, those twist off caps hurt your hands after a while. :D

Thanks Skip I needed that.

I do so love this part of the whole experience *bounces* gorgeous gifts, all.

Slyc -I'd tell you your Santa but they obviously meant for it to remain secret *grins* So, kep guessing!

OH! just opened mine....two packages and both wonderfully edible.

The first: a lovely little basket of Wesh Chocolates.

The second: Titillating NIpple dust. Strawberry flavored, "brush it on and lick it off" Hee hee

I love chocolate and will have fun with the dust!!

Thank you very much Scheherazade!

Well, aren't we an imaginative and thoughtful bunch?

Me, I received a beautiful carved duck from Dino.

Thank you sweetheart, it's beautiful, and will make wonderful addition to our growing collection of ducks and geese.

I know this kind of carving (heavy black stone, with the carving highlighted in white) has a special name, but I can't remember it, I'll have to ask the wife.

Photo to follow later, right now I have to get ready for work.

Back soon! :D

Good Morning, Happy People!!

I'll start with the one Aussie Quarantine opened for me  I got books - 2 books! And a box of tea which customs was obviously suspicious of - they've ripped the box apart, but the contents are fine, and a small Tescos XMas pudding, which Customs took at face value.

Yay, books!
Thank you thank you Nirvana

I found it exceptionally funny when you mentioned a few weeks ago that it was placed in Quarantine. I have no idea why . . . it just - really made me laugh. :D

I'm glad you like - Enjoy! :rose:

Wooo hooo for pressies and pictures!

I'll take a piccie of mine in the morning,it's ptich black and i have no idea where my camera is right now.

I've already thanked Magica for her cool sign, but now I have to thank chantily for the beautiful scarf/shawl/headscarf/ tiny table cloth -I could use it for any one of a million things and it's a gorgeous colour, thank you.

And Vana -I broke down and opened yours now, too and thank you!!!!! I got Eeyores!!! (I'll show you all in the morning :)

Eeyores!! :D:heart:

I feel like the little kid who woke up early on Christmas morning and started opening gifts all on her own . . . where is everybody

If Vana is still here-- Thank you, darling!

I'm about to fall into bed, and I'm taking my new book with me.

The book was recommended to me by Shanglan;
"Master Class in Fiction Writing". by Adam Sexton.

I'm here, just been raiding Christmas hampers for munchies for the kidlets' school class parties tomorrow.

that is beautiful vana, so pretty!

Starrkers -it's Boo's Christmas party today -I made 90 sponge cakes yesterday for it

I am using inadequate kitchen facilities as a great excuse for many things at the moment! Cake making and a caravan kitchen just don't work well.

I volunteered, though in my defence I was only volunteering for one class then found out it was all the infants!

I don't mind, it wasn't too much trouble and i love making kiddies smile :)
