Consensus seems to be to stay calm, but stand your ground. Bigfoots are presumed to be afraid of humans and avoid contact. So if one winds up in front of you, it was by mistake. It will probably be startled by your presence. Stand still and give it the chance to turn and go away. Don't scream or yell because you might cause it to panic. Your running may also trigger it to chase you because it's mad at you for being there and startling you in the first place.

If it's a night encounter, it is suggested that you shine a light/flashlight directly into its eyes. It is presumed that Bigfoots have very sensitive vision, and the sudden bright light will hurt its eyes and turn it in the other direction.

Ok, so I recieved a Secret Santa gift.... but not my Secret Santa gift.

I opened my gift today, thinking it was my Secret santa and found some adorable mini duckies for my collection along with a book on collecting duckies:
