Section breaks and display glitches

I always write in MS Word and upload my files rather than using the submission field. I have never had an issue with any of the supported format items transferring over from the way they appear in Word.

Same here. Yet the dinkus' were missing from my last story posted two days ago.

I have a story which indicates section breaks with <hr>, and break within chapters with a row of ten hyphens ----------.

If the bug doesn't get fixed, the section breaks will unpredictably be invisible.

Since we're going down the formatting rabbit hole, I'll throw this out there again:

It's a web-based tool that will take a drag and drop HTML file and simplify the markup to only bold, italics, and centered. In short, all stuff that Lit supports.

It also converts horizontal rules to a dinkus. (So I can say "dinkus" one more time.)

You then paste the tool's output in Lit's "new story" form.

It does very well with HTML exported from LibreOffice, since that is my word processor of choice. It may work with other HTML exports, too. Your mileage may vary.
