Anthony had a huge grin on his face as he held Gianna’s hand and led her from the Doctor’s office to their car. He opened the door for Gianna, only to pull her into his arms for a long, deep kiss. He cupped her tummy in his big strong hand as he kissed her. “Two, can you believe it? We will have a whole family right from the beginning.” Anthony didn’t think he had ever been this happy!

The motel was ten minutes from the Doctors offices, down a twisting and turning road that went through the woods and wound around the lake to the small, quaint motel. He held Gianna’s hand as they drove, the ride was pretty and peaceful, “I want you to choose where we eat tonight, I don’t think there are a lot of options, but I don’t mind driving a bit either. After we go for a little hike, I bet we will pretty hungry, especially since you are eating for three Babe.”

They went into the motel together, they were nice rooms and Anthony asked for something that would look over the lake, hopefully something with a small deck and they took care of him to perfection. Gianna got the debrief on several different dining options, all were within a half hour, small places but a surprising variety of cuisines.

They slipped on walking shoes, and Anthony tossed on a pair of shorts, and they began to walk down the three mile walking path. It was natural and beautiful, just like everything else up here. Anthony held out his hand, “We can take our time, just enjoy the fresh air.” Once they had been walking for a while, Anthony broached the topic he had been thinking about ever since the Doctor’s visit.

”I have been thinking what if we had our death staged a couple of hundred miles from here, and spent the next nine months up here? Especially with twins, I want to make sure you have good medical care, and I trust Doc, and I know he will take care of you and the babies. We can use a combination of my parent’s place, where we have security, and maybe even camp a bit? I think we can make sure we are safe here?”

He pulled her so his arms could go around her, “We can ask Nicholas his thoughts, but what do you think, would you like to stay up here until the babies are born?”

Gianna has smiled contentedly as the settled into the motel and grinned as he said that she could choose dinner tonight and chuckledas he said excitedly she was eating for three " Im still stunned by that baby, but ill choose something well all like" she said and giggled.

The room they were given per Anthonys request was beautiful, it had a small deck, a view of the lake and the nature around it and was so peaceful. She would ask Anthony if they could stay a day or two longer because it was comforting to her and she could relax because it was so private there.

They changed into something comfortable to prepare for their hike and she held Anthonys hand as they began their walk together as a family down the path enjoying the beautiful view and the nature around them.

She smiled as he saidntheyncoukd take their time and enjoynthe fresh air and she agreed " Its peaceful out here baby" she said she could tell something was on Anthonys mind.

He began to talk to her about staying there until she gave birth and staging their death not to far from here and she knew there was winding highway right off of this place when she had glanced at a map earlier .

I dont think thatll be a bad idea baby, i do like it here and the doctor is really good, and we arent far from your parents place either, I trust you baby, i know youll keep us safe.. but youre right we need to speak to Nich so we know were in the clear about the death location" she said and kissed him softly

She spotted a rock they could sit and take a rest for a while and enjoy their surroundings " I do love this place baby, inwas just about to ask if we could stay a little longer.. you know me so well honey" she said playfully " This actually gives me an idea for the babies nursery when we get settled " she said softly and leaned against him.

Anthony smiled, “I’m easy Babe, it is you and those two I want to make sure it agrees with… of course if it made you a little needy, that would be okay too!” He was teasing, but knowing she was carrying two of their children and not just one, made him want her even more!

To be honest, his quaint little hotel was even nicer than Anthony remembered. Of course back then he just wanted to swim and maybe fish in the lake, now he was sharing it with the woman of his dreams.

They walked along the path talking, and Anthony was pleased that she agreed. He hadn’t liked the idea of running while Gianna was pregnant, but now that she was carrying two, he knew that they had to be even more careful.

“Tomorrow I will go and get us a few burner phones so we can call Nicholas, and finalize the plans. Yes we can stay here a few days, and then head back, get married at my parent’s place, and come back here until the babies are born.
He laughed, “That sounds soo good, BABIES.. you are going to be such a terrific mother!

They sat on the rock, there was a bobcat that you could see in one of the trees, and then a doe and two of her babies, came out of the brush to stand in the path and eat. The Doe looked up, and stared at Gianna for quite a while. Anthony put his arm around Gianna and pointed out the deer. “I think she is looking at you, one mother to another!… So what is the idea for the nursery?”

They sat there for a while, Anthony holding Gianna, cuddling and kissing. “It will be sunset soon, let’s go watch it from our deck, and then have you decided on dinner yet?”

Gianna giggled and said " I'll always be needy for you honey that's how were having two now" she teased playfully. She knew running would be hard now with her carrying the twins, sure she was a badass agent, but she knew the stress wouldn't be the best for her or their children and she woukd be showing in a while, it would be obvious she was very well pregnant she knew her and the babies getting hurt would just stress Anthony out.

She kissed his hand softly as he held her telling her he wouod get more burner phones tomorrow and that they could stay there at the hotel a few more days , get married then return back until the babies are born, she was sure if they offered a great amount they would be able to stay and she was brought out of her small thoughts smiling as he mentioned the babies.

" I'm still in shock baby, I know you will make a terrific father Anthony, I can already feel how much you love them by the way you love me" she grinned loving how excited he had been and she couldn't help but be excited too, she was just happy to have someone love and care for her this way and knew no matter what she would keep those babies safe and their family.

Gianna spotted the doe and it was staring at her for a moment and she spotted the two babies with her and smiled softly thinking of her with her two babies and she also spotted the bobcat which she was cautious and antsy of knowing shed hoot that thing if it tried to attack the deers.

Anthony nuzzled her closer maybe catching her thoughts a bit and said it'd be sunset soon and asking what'd shed like to eat " I actually want steak honey, I haven't had any in a while and I just having a craving for it, oh and some chocolate cake " she said and giggled knowing her cravings were kicking in a bit.

The news from the Doctor had been a huge surprise, the very best kind of surprise, but a surprise, nonetheless. It changed everything, in certain ways, but in others, they may have done this anyway. Anthony would not risk Gianna or the babies, whether it be one or two, but two just made the pregnancy riskier.

“Then we are settled, unless Nicholas gives us a strong reason not to, we are going to stay up here until the babies are born and able to travel. We could probably get guards, but I think the fewer people that know the better, and I can set up top notch security. If nothing happens back at mom and dad’s place, it means we may not be being followed, and if there are issues, we make the best decision we can then.”

Anthony liked how strong Gianni was, she was a true partner, and if they were together and aligned on a decision, he knew it would be a good one. They both watched the bobcat, but with humans nearby he shuffled off, leaving the doe and her fawns. “I think it is a good omen, there is always danger afoot, but id doesn’t mean bad things have to happen…”

They finally strolled back to thier cabin, “Steaks sound great, there is a place up the the lake a bit, they have an outdoor, huge grill, where they serve cattle and venison steaks.” Then he remembered the doe, “We will stick to beef… they usually have a country band there who covers Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw songs. Maybe we can see if a couple of New Yorkers can two step?

They both cleaned up, and got dressed. Gianna as always looked amazing, “I just have to get used to, for the rest of my life, the woman on my arm will be the most beautiful in the place!” He kissed her, before walking her down to their car…

Gianna smiled listening to his suggestions and nodded "That sounds like an amazing night honey and its been a while since ive danced Its going to be alot of fun" she said and giggled kissing him softly.

They both went home showered and got dressed. Gianna put on a simple black dress and some comfortable flat shoes and Anthony wore a button down and pants and she smiled looking at him as her looked at her admiring his handsomeness and physique that you could tell her got working out.

She grinned as he said "I just have to get used to, for the rest of my life, the woman on my arm will be the most beautiful in the place! and she giggled saying well i have get used to having the sexiest and most skillful man in the room".

She held his hand as they went tomthe car and soon the two were off to dinner at the fancy restaurant sitting on the lake with a gorgeous view and was amazed something so private had been this gorgeous.

Anthony smiled at Gianna’s return compliment but there was no denying they were a very attractive couple. In some ways it was not good, as they would always be quickly recognized and remembered whenever they went, which made going incognito difficult. Anthony felt pretty safe all the way up here in this small town, but you could never be too safe.

The restaurant was in a way elegant in it simplicity. Built on supports it jutted out over the lake. Before going inside Anthony had taken a quick tour of the parking lot, but all the license plates and stickers on the windshields were local. Anthony realized this was just going to be a part of their life. Doing diligence before walking into a place, just to make sure they didn’t encounter any unwanted guests/enemies.

With the coast clear, they parked and Anthony put his arm around Gianna’s waist as they went in. The restaurant only had about 12 tables and only 2/3 of those were full. Nevertheless, there was a juke box and a dance floor and at the moment a Luke Bryan song was playing and those dancing were doing a two step.

They were offered their choice of a table inside or a table out on the balcony that surrounded the outer perimeter of the restaurant, and had a gorgeous view of the forest and lake below. Anthony looked at Gianna, “It is a warm night, do you mind if we eat outside?” Once they were seated, they were brought menus. The place specialized in char grilled steaks, and cedar plank grilled salmon and trout that came straight from the lake.

It was more of a cold beer than wine place, and Anthony ordered a local IPA that had been a favorite of his for a long time, but was only available up here. “Have you ever had sweet tea?” Anthony asked, “Not everyone likes it, but this place serves about as good as it gets.” They were brought a plate of fresh baked corn bread, and both regular and honey butter, this was old fashioned cooking, but Anthony loved It.

”Anything special you want me to look for in the juke box, because I want to dance with my girl, if you’re up to it, that is?” They could order in a bit, this was their night’s entertainment, the first night of the rest of their lives, and Anthony was really looking forward to it!

Gianna the saw stares the two of them got at the restaurant when they got in, it wasnt particularly upscale but it was a nice atmosphere for them to enjoy dinner in from time to time since they wouod be staying up here.


She saw Anthonys cautiousness, she knew they sign of a sweep very well being an agent and knew he was checking to see if they were followed or traced. Her eyes checked as well having a feeling they werent and she would make sure they never were either because of her skills and love for their growing family.


She smiled as he held her by the waist and they were offered the option to dine in or enjoy the outdoor and they both agreed to sit outside because it was nice out. She held his hand as they were escorted to their table and she sat across from him as they were given menus.

She knew wine was out of the question, so she opted for an arnold palmer a mix of the restaurants famous sweet tea and their lemonade while Anthony decided on a local pale ale.

They were offered fresh cornbread with regular or honey butter and Giannas stomach growled at the smell of it and she giggled "I guess they like the smell too" she said reffering to their babies and grabbed a piece cutting it and butter regular butter on one slice wnd honey butter on the other tasting a small bit of each.


She looked at him as he asked her for a song she wanted to hear and said " How about I cross my heart by George Strait if they have that baby?" She said knowing that song was truly how she felt about Anthony .

It was a great barbecue and steak place, very authentic old log cabin style with the outside veranda overlooking the water. They enjoyed the cornbread and honey, Anthony ordered catfish and a baked potato and a frosty mug of a local IPA.

”I hope those babeis know they have the nicest, sexiest house any two babies have ever had.” He reached over and rubbed her tummy, something he found himself doing increasingly often as if wanting to let them know how much their father loved both them and their mother. It was a feeling Anthony and never really received from Tuna.

They had made the request, and when the George Strait song started, Anthony got up and held out his hand. Both he and Gianna were very good dancers, but other than when she stripped, she and Anthony had rarely danced. Going forward, they would do it often.

He took Gianna by the hand and led her inside to the small dance floor adjacent to the bar. Taking her in hold he smiled, “believe it or not, this New York kid knows how to two step.. shall we”.

If all eyes were on them before, everyone stood and came around the dance floor to watch and cheer on the handsome and clearly in love couple as they sashayed all around the floor, turning and spinning and always in complete rhythm with each other!
