I am trying the ol' "New Year, New Me" sorta deal. Sooooo, I'm familiar with the rules and such. I have written before, mostly sci-fi (sy-fy?). I can respond nightly but that's about it. Once a night to a story. I write well thought out responses and never was one for one sentence replies (from myself or my partner). So, if you're willing to take a chance on the new girl in town, I would appreciate it.

Also, please note, I will only accept/reply to offers that appeal to me, so let me apologize in advance for that. It's just, I know what I want.

Alison joined the police force when she was 18, thinking she was going to make a difference. She spent the next five years on bullshit patrol, writing parking tickets and pushing bums off parking benches. It was dull, and she clung to the hope that someday, she'd get the chance to do something that mattered.

She was a voluptuous redhead, and most of the cops in the station hit on her as a matter of routine, and she tried to have a sense of humor about it. She wasn't going to get anywhere if they thought she was a bitch, but it wouldn't help if they thought she was easy, either.

She went on a few dates with regular guys, but most of them were losers. Or freaks. At 23, she was starting to think she was an old maid. She looked at herself and thought she was beautiful, most of the guys she met seemed to want to get her out of her clothes, but there was nobody she could date.

She was starting to think seriously about a new career. Maybe going to college and finding a job where she wouldn't be surrounded by pricks all the time. Then she got called in to talk to the chief. The force in the next city was looking for a girl to go undercover. A local gang was getting big, and dangerous, flooding the streets with cheap drugs. There had been a few skirmishes with other crews over turf, and the cops were afraid an all-out war was coming. They badly needed someone on the inside, but none of their narcs had been able to get anywhere near.

The gang operated out of a strip club, and they tried to get one of the girls to feed them information, but the dancers were too scared of their bosses to even think about it. The only way it would work was if they could get a cop inside. A cop from a different city. Ali had the body to be a stripper, and everyone knew she was looking for an opportunity.

She couldn't help thinking she was being played, but she needed to make a move. She got a little money and checked into a motel with weekly rates near the club, did a little shopping to get outfits sleazy enough for her new identity, bleached her hair and took a few dance classes. One day, a week or two after the meeting with the chief, "Ally Morales" went into the strip club, looking for a gig....

For The Greater Good

I'm looking for a female writing partner to join me in an adventure of galactic dimensions.


Short plot synopsis (without spoilers... at least not many):
A woman is abducted by an alien, only to find herself drawn into an interstellar conspiracy about not only her future, but also the future of her own and her abductor's species. Together with the alien that took her from Earth, she soon discovers that there's more to her own past than she would have ever imagined. Critical of each other at first, the strange pair soon develops strong sympathy towards each other, and eventually becomes a couple. As it turns out, humans and aliens have quite a bit in common - both mentally and physically.

As they continue their journey, it becomes obvious that whatever is going on on the alien's homeworld is also happening on Earth. Having to face deadly obstacles and intrigue, the woman and her otherworldly companion now fight for the survival of both their races. Eventually, after facing many ups and downs, their adventure comes to an end. Uncovering the conspiracy, and rallying the common people of both species into the battle against it, the woman and her alien manage to (hopefully!) save their worlds.


Expectations (for all involved parties):
"For The Greater Good" is definitively not a simple fuck-fest, so there will be lots of plot, exposition, and dialogue. Don't expect sex on the first (or even second, and perhaps also not third) page. The relationship between our characters will be fragile - even volatile - at first, and only gradually develop. Once the ice finally breaks, however, they will quickly warm up to each other and develop sympathy. And once they realize what is at stake, they'll be fiercly defensive and loyal regarding each other.

I can post a several times per week (about every 2 to 3 days on average), and would greatly appreciate a similar level of activity and participation from my writing partner (otherwise the story won't get anywhere anytime soon and we'll miss out on all the fun parts). My native tongue is not English, but I try my best to write correct and complete sentences, and also use a spell checker. Please return the favor, because stuff lik dis is somthin nobdy in they're rite mind shuld of too red. Usually, I write about three to four paragraphs on average, but based on the situation it can be (much) more or (quite) a bit less. A bit flexibility in this regard is highly appreciated.

Regarding our characters: I will play the alien abductor and pretty much all NPCs, but I'm willing to discuss things. I'm very open to suggestions and discussions regarding the plot's development. Same thing goes for anything happening between the protagonists - intimate or not. Aside from the main plot, pretty much everything's open to discussion, so please talk to me if you don't like something instead of just dropping out. You can find examples of my style here, here, and here, so you can check if our writing styles would be a good match.

It's a hot summer night, muggy and rainy with a thick fog settling in over the city. There's a little diner. It's a cheap place but not a bad one and they stay open late to cater to the colorful crowd of night owls. It's a half-hour from midnight and alone at the counter sits a young woman. She's dressed to the nines in a sexy cocktail dress, fashionable heels, jewelry, make-up, everything. Whatever her plans were this evening, they obviously didn't involve sitting by herself in a place like this. The patrons all notice her, but no one approaches her. They keep their heads down and don't ask questions or intrude. Until one guy comes up to the counter. There's a lot of available stools there, but he sits next to her. He introduces himself and tries to see if he can get her to open up.

A high-level British secret agent abruptly resigns from the agency she works for. As soon as she gets home, the sinister man following her gasses her. I rob houses. I rob from the very rich and only take what I know I can move quickly without it being traced back to me. I work alone and do my homework before each robbery. At 35 I have never been caught. Tonight I am going to break into the Kirchner Mansion. They are away, or at least that is what my research has led me to believe. Mr. Kirchner is in his sixties. Mr. Kirchner was called away because of a family crisis and left Mrs. Kirchner at home.

I am looking for a female to play Mrs. Kirchner. I am open to suggestions and ideas to make the story more appealing for both my co-writer and the readers.
