So now you admit that what he did wasn't a crime. Yet you began all of this tirade on the premise that Sessions was unfit BECAUSE he didn't care about the Russia investigation. Which not caring wasn't a crime and isn't enough to toss his butt to the curb. Especially since you also now admit that the Senate WAS briefed (while Sessions was still a sitting Senator) so Sessions probably had the same information as the rest of the committee. So, really all you had was a fake accusation which you refuted yourself.

And now that not caring pseudo-offense has morphed into a fake perjury allegation. Fake because it's the same thing Claire McCaskill did (though she wasn't under oath at the time). People forget things. Sessions says he did exactly that. McCaskill provably DID do exactly that. It's called being human. And that's not a reason to dislike someone to the point we should just put them in jail based on your rather insubstantial and wandering reasons.

Proof is something you do not have. Ire, which you have a lot of, is not proof.

At some point you have to realize that what you're doing is hunting for an excuse to not like him. So far you've done a pretty poor job at it. But that won't stop you, you will continue to not like him and probably will continue to hunt for a reason to support it.

I just hope that you eventually understand that you're doing it backward. I'm pretty sure that I hope in vain but I still hope.

You brought up his "excuse" for not being briefed (knew he was going to recuse himself). That led to a discussion of that and why its bullcrap. Two parallel issues, really. Overall, perjury is for sure the worst of it but that doesn't mean he's off the hook for the original issue.

His excuse being a lame cover story, it's dereliction of duty, stupidity, and not seeing it as such a big deal.
