this thread title can go at least two ways:
A. The way that originally occured to me. Flooding is usually more of a spring evennnt, but it's still ok to write a story in summer about a M who volunteers to fill sandbags, or place them to protect property. Maybe they meet an attractive fellow volunteer. Or a thankful homeowner.
B. the sland use of "sandbagging" as hiding your true intent, interest, or talents. That version seems pretty open ended....
