we live in va....where would I look to check out sex clubs....any sites that are good? thanks

From there, look at the websites and reviews of the clubs that interest you. Most have (often mandatory) orientations, so attend those and ask questions, if you have any. Then it's just a matter of checking out the parties to see if any given club suits you.
As for the STI issue, it's critical to assume everyone you're considering sexual contact with has a host of STIs. Try to protect yourself accordingly.

There are definitely sex clubs in Virginia. It is a requirement of most clubs in the state that you be female or part of a couple, though. Of course, there are screenings as well. (sadly, I've never been allowed into any club anywhere near me 
)
