Oh, yeah, electric tea pot. That is a lifesaver.

I had a Tassimo (gave up the ghost after about 10 years), but I don't really like the Keurig myself. Well, that and she brought home some Starbucks Mocha pods. Starbucks! Where did I go wrong?

I have a second hand Cuisinart (inherited from my Grandmother) I love but need to replace. I keep thinking about an immersion blender, but talk myself out of it.

Before my other half switched careers, his job gave points/rewards so that's how we got alot of kitchen gadgets.

Immersion blender is amazing but also can destroy a recipe if you over use it. Great for tomatoes but unless you want tomato soup tread lightly.

Also don’t sleep on the mandolin!!

My ex wasn't crazy about me buying "kitchen crap," so most of this came in the last year or so since the divorce. Of course, she got the house with all the counter space (only taken up by the bread machine she hasn't used in at least ten years, heh).

When I buy a house, counter space will be the second most important thing (after bookshelves...)

I am honestly happy having a place for myself (well, the Kid stays here about half the time, which is like having a roommate that doesn't do dishes-- so like most of my past roommates). But when I go house hunting, yes, kitchen is high on the list.
