Heat pumps aren't even common in the midwest.I don't think I have even heard of anyone here not having a heat pump. And yeah, my house has crazy amounts of insulation, and it's a relatively old house for Las Vegas.
Funny, Nevada is also most uninhabited and largely uninhabitable. But that's because of a lack of water in the desert.![]()
In fact, they're extraordinarily rare. Even on new homes.
Yeah there are a lot of places like that. Concentrations of population in a few areas and then nothing.
Only 5% of Australia is considered habitable... by humans.
