Kent began telling Kara all he knew about Lycans, though it would take a long time. But it would never be told in full if he did not start.
He explained about early life and how it came about. About proto-life, viruses, and cells. How environmental pressure allowed some forms of life to thrive and others died off. Some cells learned how to alter themselves in different ways so they could survive environmental changes.
Fungi do it by sharing nuclei. Others did it by turning on and turning off parts of the genetic code and in essence, transformed itself to accommodate the new environment. One type of cell became very adept at change. But in the grand scheme of things, these cells could never reproduce as fast as the standard cells could, so though they are stronger survivors, they never propogated in sufficient numbers to become a dominant force in the genetic pool.
Just as some cells aggregated into plants and others into animals, Lycan cells also aggregated.

Kara listend to Kent with rapt attention she wanted to know all she could about what she was and where she came from. Ohhh Like sortof like the Lizards and Frogs in the forrest that change there skins to blend in when they concentrate, and so on. She said very proud that she understood some of what he was saying.
She was facinated with what Kent called cell's, and also found that the more he explained about there kind the calmer she became about the whole flight thing.... she couldnt wait to see his home, and get to know more about Kent himself.

It was a good question and one that Kent hadn't fully thought through. Kent's human guise made him look to be in his forties. Kara's made her look like she was still in her teens. Though he could introduce her as his bride, Kent felt that might cause problems with some of his associates, both lycan and human.
He couldn't protect Kara if she were just a friend and no one would believe in a here-to-fore unknown daughter.....
"We'll say you are my niece. That means the daughter of my brother or sister. It also means we have to be discreet in front of other people. We can show familial affection, like you used to do with your mother and father, but our intimacy must be kept private."
They talked a bit more but soon the drone of the engines lulled Kara asleep. It wasn't until the engines throttled back during the approach that Kara woke up.
"We'll be landing soon." Kent explained the process he called passport control and immigration.
"After we get to my home, we'll go out so you can learn the local language. It's called English."

After the plane had landed they got threw what Kent had explained as passport control and such with very few problems. Kara couldnt wait to make it to Kent's home. She was still wearing the white tangtop and tan vest, outfit from when they boarded the plane.
Kara found that just by listining she was picking up more and more of the english language that Kent had been talking about, she was just having trouble understanding som of the meanings behinde the words.
Once in the vehical tho she decided to ask a few more question's. Why must we keep our intamicy secret as you say? i know the humans cannot smell sex like we can, but if there are others of our kind they would be able to tell. Wether we said anyting or not. right??

So another long topic began. This one about genetics and evolution. More about cells and how species improve. Lycan strains are strong and robust. Any weakness can be morphed out of existance.
Among humans though, bad genes persist. If humans breed to other humans with the same bad genes, they get unhealthy offspring. So it's become taboo to have sex with your own offspring or the offspring of closely related people.
If we're to pose as family, uncle and niece, then the humans will assume we aren't having sex. If they think we are, then they would call their authorities. It is so taboo it has become against their laws.
The Lycans will know but they will also keep quiet.

Kent smiled as he watched Kara pleasure herself. She was definitley coming to enjoy herself as a human and her lycan lusts were awakening.
They were just driving through the main gate of his Malibu estate when Kent heard Kara gasp as she brought herself to orgasm.

"We're pretty well isloated here Kara. No one can see the grounds from the road and the nearest neighbors are a quarter mile away. The property goes back and butts up against a national forest."
