I'll try to keep the story short.. but.. when both of my kids were little and a hairy chested man would hold them, they would pat his chest hair and either bark or say "puppy." So to this very day, I joke that a very furry man is a puppy.

Ahhhh…that’s “teddy bear” for me!

When I was like 5 years old, 1 of my aunts was with a guy who was blond and…maybe like @Biggalute levels of fuzzy? I think vaguely remember sitting on the floor with my cousins while he was sitting on the couch and petting his leg and saying it was like a teddy bear Didn’t realize at that age how weird it must have been. He was very nice and non-creepy about it though
