Okay it happened the other morning when I went grocery shopping. I donated a $4 (packaged) bag of food to the hungry at the checkout and on my way home I hit up a Mcdonalds to get a bagel and orange juice and the guy in the truck ahead of me paid for my breakfast. Pay it forward...you can't go wrong.

Since I heard this expression I have tried to carry out a daily challenge but this week has had the following results. .
RAK take 1
Sir, ( he was an elderly chap) Do you realise your headlights are still on? I had just walked the last 100 yards behind him.
Man - (sneers and shouts) Yes I know !!! - I guess Londoners need time to adjust to this concept
RAK take 2
Shuffling along the platform to the bottom of a flight of stairs from the underground, an elderly man and wife are trying to work out how to get three large and heavy suitcases up.
As they walked up the stairs with a handle each I grabbed the other two cases and carried them up. The look on their face was priceless when I set them down beside them.

I had a little old man reach out to steady me at the grocery when my knee went out the other day. He was barely hobbling around himself but still tried to help.

Well an argument ensued on the tram about who needed the seat more, me or an elderly lady. In the end we both got a seat, someone about to get off the tram got up and told us to shut up and sit down.

The argument was about who was going to sitm we both insisted the other sit, someone else insisted we both sit
