I only just heard about it this afternoon. A quake measured at 4.8 on the Richter scale hit B'ham at nearly 1am this morning GMT. The aftershock measured at 2.7 was felt down here to (I slept thro it... but my girls said they felt the bed shaking).

As you're closer to the epicentre than I am, I hope all your pictures stayed on the walls

Don't worry bro, I was actually talking to her last night at the time of the quake (and for some time after) so I know she's okay

Infact all over the UK there were only a handful of people slightly hurt by flying glass..... so we're glad we're nowhere near any major fault lines.

Me too mate... it was rather cool (I thought so anyway). Apparently it's on one of our cable channels here in the UK as re-runs, but not sure which one or what ungodly time of night it's shown.

Earthquake?.......

No, seriously, I never felt it and neither did TRT. But then this morning my sister could not stop talking about it. She said she felt the tremor a few miles west of where I live.

Well.....there was no need for me to take to the hills.....I'm already there. It must have something to do with geographical elevation whether it was felt or not. Certainly nobody in my neighbourhood knew about it until they heard it on the news.

All is well....

(a) 5 mins lying flat, face down arms forward stretched, lifting tummy and bringing knees in, then sitting, legs tucked under buttocks into a sitting position........repeat.

(b)10 mins in lotus position deep slow breaths in holding and then breath slowly out.......repeated for duration.

(c) 5 mins arms out stretched forward and swing them out and back, chest forward, back strait, shoulders strait to count of 10....repeat.

(d) 5 miins lying flat on back lifting uper body to sitting possition.......repeat.

(e) 5 mins lying flat on back lifting legs "straight" 90 degrees, hold and open thighs to hold to count of 10, close and drop legs to resume lying position.......repeat.

Plus I share a new website with two other ladies which needs to be developed.....

Well considering it's 8:23 Friday night here I'm not doing to bad hon. Little sore yet but the more I rest the longer I can keep the pain at bay. Hard to do when you have to run over nieces every now and then when they don't want to listen. Along with the 10 month old niece wanting held. The Doctor put me on medical leave from work til further notice so I end up doing even more of the Uncle thing than I normal do during the week.

By the way Sienna like the anime av looks great. If you find yourself in the states and close to where I am stop and say hi.
