You should keep the kids & have them help paint--free labor--but bribes never hurt. I hate to see you exhaust yourself :kiss::heart:

Simple Pleasure~~Sleeping in on Sunday. Sadly~I didn't get but 4 hours last night. Stayed up late working on an illustration :rolleyes:
 
Painting, even making a dent in all the work that needed to be done, without any help from the ones who promised to help and flaked on me.

Looking at my walls and feeling good even though I wanna yell at you, and you and you and you and tell you all how much I really appreciate all the work you helped out with, NOT!

When I think about it I get so mad, but then I look at my livingroom and all the work that got done without them, and I feel so proud. That's the reason why I never ask for help, when I do they never come thru...At least I made some progress and that makes me happy.

Still sucks-take away something they value-like their swim passes--you paid for them--and you need the help. I don't want you hurt.:rose:

Nah I gave up on my nieces help long time ago. Mimi helped of course, but older kids flaked, my best friend flaked, and her bf flaked. Couple other people, all whom promised to help. Amazing when you think about it. Anytime they need me to do something for them (All of them) I do it, even if I don't wanna....Make me think twice next time they want my help and believe me I will never ask them for help again.

A bit of discipline and extortion could do something for young brats.
