Ah, then you do believe...interesting. I collect dragons myself, even had one put on my arm. LOL I have loved that book since I was a kid, but gained a much greater appreciation for it as an adult. And understood so much more after seeing Finding Neverland. In any case, it is so nice to see someone with an appreciation for good books on here.

I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!! And I appreciated Peter Pan more as an adult as well, it was as a grown-up that it really struck a chord with me...and I find myself adding touches of it wherever I can. Hopefully someday in a tat as well...

Hah! I knew you were a believer LOL And I just had my arm done in a Japanese collage from elbow to shoulder around my dragon. I have a few more dragons to add. And everyone says I'm a big kid, so I guess I know why Peter Pan made more sense to me as an adult. Try and get me away from rollercoasters LMAO

A person doesn't necessary have to loose that, not if you look in the right places. It can be like times once long ago, like how you enjoyed things in a simpler innocent time.

You only need to find the right door to open and a helpful hand to lead you on the way.

So, I took her for a two hour drive, we walked up a big hill, and then I sat her down, and said "Look around." After a few minutes of looking to the horizon in every direction with the world laid out before her, she kissed my cheek, put her head on my shoulder and said, "I get it." Sometimes, it's good to see the beauty and feel small for a while.

Exactly. How do you put into words the perspective of how small we really are in comparison to it all? It's like trying to describe air. You know it's there, and it makes you feel good and keeps you alive, but you can't see, touch or taste it. There are never adequate words to describe a feeling either, you just get it.

Adults lose their sense of wonder and joy in the simplest things because we are all too damn busy. A child sees everything in great detail and feels something when they see it. Most people lose their ability to take joy in the smallest things, but it's the little things that make it all worth it. I love to play, and I always like to try anything once. Why not?
