The man regards the girl for a long moment, then grins "put your tits on the counter and give me money? oh look. there you go' he heads into the back and brings out some freshly baked pogacha and chicken paprikas. he set the dish down and pours her a mediocre glass of wine to go with it. "here with Petra?" he nods towards the back "it's been a while" then pours another customer a beer, leaving kath to her food.

Petra and her contact talk briefly, then she heads over to the bar "when you're done eating there's an address e can check out. you can cast your spell and see if the magistrate is inside" she says low, her lips just over Kath's ear "take your time though you look famished."

Kasia rolls her eyes at him "i go days without eating. mostly cause im broke though" she laughs and sits up, putting on her freshly laundred clothes "lets hit the tailor then see what's what. Might need to lay low a few days... worse places to go to ground though. we can take a stroll around the vineyard and pretend we're fancy."

Kath scarfs down some food, and the adventure continues

Kath laughs at the bartender's joke, making sure her tits bounce merrily as she does so.
"You're a hoot! Thanks babe."
She then proceeds to wolf down her food like an animal, with no regard for class whatsoever.
As Petra comes back from her meeting, Kath looks up to her, food stains all over her. She tries to mumble something with her mouth full, but Petra raises an eyebrow in confusion.
Kath lifts a finger, swallows heavily, lets out a small burp (and silent fart), giggles, and gets back up.
"Well, that hit the spot! Alright Petra, lets do this! Here, before we go...let me make sure you don't get dropped in one hit again..."
Kath leans forward, kisses Petra on her forehead, and casts Death Ward on her.

OOC: within the next 8 hours, if Petra takes a hit that would reduce her to 0HP or below, she instead drops to 1hp, and is still conscious.

"There, now let's go get that bitch!"

Petra groans at Kath's display "youare like the worst elf ever. what happened to serenity and walking through woodland glades and shit?"she nudges Kath to show she's mostly playing, then leads her through the twisting streets of dockside, to the Eastern rise. Overlooking the worst part of town, but still elevated, they come to a middle class section of the City. Hewn into the mountainside is a large structure, with a statue of the founder of the Ludowy dynasty flanked by flags bearing the King of Ludowy's eagle sigil. Standing out front are two guards with pikes.

Petra stops Kath down the block a bit, but close enough for the spell to work "can you tell if he's in there?"

The search for Magistrate Konrad continues

Kath nods at Petra.
Channeling her last 5th level spell sl(u)t, she focuses on the Magistrate's familiar lust and hornyness. She tries to sense it in the air, using the power of the Demigoddess. She actually starts sweating a bit, using all of her concentration. She also starts getting a little hard herself...she whispers her prayers and incantations, and a faint blue magical aura starts shining around her...
"Demigoddess, show me the Magistrate, so we can rescue him from those who would kill him for punishing a rapist. We are the only ones in this sexy City who can accomplish this task...I beg of your help..."
Kath concentrates on her spell, desperately trying to sense Lord Konrad, the chubby horny but JUST lawgiver of Gradzlata...

Kasia shrugs "I'm not in a huge hurry to get to anything. Lets deal with the tailor then head down to the basin" The tailor comes, taking quite a few measurements as they eat a little breakfast of cold meat and day old bread. Towards the end of the meal, the butler appears with a letter "youll need these to get through the checkpoints, since you're foreigners" he steps back "Master Simic wished you to know that now is not an auspicious time to begin his next contract, and so you have a day or two to yourselves. The city, he warns, is quite dangerous. you may come and go as you please and we will be.." he sighs "happy..." not looking that happy "to accomodate you here for as long as you wish"

The goddess fills Kath's mind with images of Konrad fucking Felicia, then draws her attention into the building, showing her the present reality of the tied up and gagged Konrad inside the place. He's not far from the door, 2 or 3 rooms down a hallway off the main entrance hallway. the vision retreats, and Kath is left with a semi and a full knowledge of the whereabouts of the kidnapped official.

Petra looks at her expectantly through a fall of dark brown hair "well?"

Kasia looks out at the city for a long moment "I ...As shit as this place can be to live i'm kind of freaked about the cannon fire." she goes over to the window, looking out at the view of the city a long moment "it feels like something bad is in the air all around Clancy. I can't put my finger on it" she leans against the window and reaches for him "come on over here. just hang out a minute."

Kasia leans back against Clancy "nothing makes sense right now. " she closes her eyes and nestles in against Clancy, tugging his arms around her a little bit more "everything has this weird sort of feeling of the air before a real storm and I can't shake that feeling" she looks up at Clancy "i blame you" she grins "fucking up the pace of my life."

Responding to Karina and land owners.

True I would work better with a healed arm, but tomorrow I should be heading back into town to meet with the armorer again to make sure the size, weight and length of my new sword fits me the best. Then they will want the finalizing touches on it. So I am expecting that to be 2 or 3 more days. After all it is payed for, and would be a shame to just leave it behind to be resold or melted down. Then after that I am will be looking for a job to put my skills to use.

Jon bows his head to the two land owners that are mounted.... Jon thinks to him self "I will need to keep that offer in mind, or find some kind of job in the next few days where ever life takes me."

Kath finds the Magistrate's location

Kath focuses...
"Through the main entrance... down the hallway...third door to the right...he's tied up and gagged...still alive, I can sense him...that's it!"
She breaks her concentration, and puts a warm hand on Petra's shoulder, casting Enhance ability: Cat's grace.
"Hold on, before we go in...there we go. She should have a harder time getting the drop on you now."

OOC: Petra gains advantage on all Dex Checks (Initiative, reflex, stealth, acrobatics...) for the next 10 minutes.

Kasia laughs and kisses Clancy's cheek "and you're never going to know." she rests her head against his shoulder "All you need to know is that when you're old and grey i'll still be young and hot. i promise to leave you with a nice nurse when i go out and pick up girls." she grins and sticks her tongue out at him "I'm immature, I know. We're probably around the same age." She shrugs "but i get 100 extra years and I'll pretty much look like this until I suddenly look like a gnome"

Petra considers for a long moment, then appears to make some sort of decision. she looks uncomfortable about it "you're ok with..." then trails off a moment. she shifts her daggers around and then moves into the shadows along the building. In the darkness, only the entrance with its lanterns is really visible. Using the nearby gunfire to cover her sound she slips up onto the steps behind the two guards, vaulting easily due to the enhancement spell.

Quick as a flash she's cut one of their throats from beihind, gently lowering him to the ground, the roar of nearby cannons covering the sound. SHe takes the blade and grabs the other from behind, not killing him. Petra can see him flailing for something and dropping it at Petra's feet. Petra jerks her head a few times, trying to summon Kath to come over.

Karina shakes her head "I dunno. I was going to drag you off and prove all the rumors about randy widows true but, the moment passed" she laughs and looks over the haze over the ciy again "why dont you just rest a bit today, and see what happens this afternoon? if you need to you can take the wagon into town. If not, just sit around here and you can take care of small things that come up."

Kath squinted as Petra took out the guards. She moved as quietly as possible next to the bleeding guards, and casts "spare the dying" on both of them (she can do it at will). They remain unconscious, but alive...
One of them seems to have dropped something on the floor. Kath picks it up and examines it

Jon nods in agreement on resting a bit today and see what happens this afternoon. Jon is unsure about the idea of taking a wagon, but with his sore foot. It might not be a bad idea for tomorrow. Jon nods again at "If not, just sit around here and you can take care of small things that come up."

Jon says sounds good to relax today as tomorrow I gotta take that trip again.

the guard shakes his head "no. she left. we've never seen her before. She showed up, said she had a gift and dropped him off"" Petra nods to Kath "tie him. no need to kill him." she looks relieved "if that woman is in there and I get out alive, you will wish you'd never been born" she hisses at the man, then puts her daggers away. she reaches down for the key shemade the man drop and goes to unlock the door. "lets try to be stealthy."

Kasia nods and gets dressed. they eat a little cold chicken for breakfast, and then head to see if they can make it to Ludmilla's. for now, no one is allowed out of the heights. They can see a few scattered gatherings in squares below, but it seems like the militia is breaking them up. As they return to the house, they see Marius outside with a blond woman. The woman wears a man's breeches and shirt, with glasses made of blue crystal low on her nose. she pushes them up and looks Clancy over "this is the wizard?" she asks in elvish.

"Yes"

She steps forward a little, looking the two over. "I understand you two found a side passage in the Simic family crypt."

The woman nods "I am Livonia Scipii. I have an interest in mapping the catacombs. If you were to follow this detour and map it out, I would make it worth your time" she shrugs "I am not sending my beloved son with you so the extravagance of Jozep Simic will not be repeated, but I assure you it's more than you'll make standing outside of doors" she smiles, though it seems like its not a natural look for her. "50 gold a week, plus a commission if you find anything interesting down that hole. 1 weeks pay guaranteed, even if the detour only goes 10 feet. That's my risk."

Kath EXPERTLY ties the guard up (she has quite a bit of experience in that), then tries to remain as quiet as possible, following Petra into the room

Kath makes the guard feel slutty and controlled, but in a good safe way. Further, the two slip easily into the headquarters of the lily. A loud argument can be heard in the second room, adjacent to where the magistrate is being kept

"This is a bad idea Lech. It is the worst idea in the history of ideas. Turn the man over to Duke Kazimir and assure him we had nothing to do with this! That woman... she's not one of ours"

"She is one of ours. She knew the code phrases."

"Damn the code phrases! I've never heard of her and this ... this could bring Gradzlata to war with Volk at their backs."
