Skin tight clothing

So I noticed that there hasn't been a whole lot of chat in this thread :D (j/k), but it reminded me of this conversation I had with some colleagues at work one time...

We were on the East Coast for business and usually around the office here on the West Coast, it's pretty casual...but in Baltimore they insisted that we wear "business casual" at a minimum, meaning no jeans. So the first day, a couple of the ladies wore skinny jeans since they fit rather close to the skin, it looks "clean" enough to pass for a business setting (not baggy jeans with holes in them or anything). Well...they were gently reminded that no jeans were allowed and business casual was the expected dress code.

After work, a group of us were walking back to the hotel and a couple of the ladies were complaining about not being able to wear jeans and I (a guy) mentioned that since the skinny jeans were basically skin tight, that it looked nice enough for biz-casual since they didn't look sloppy. I think I might have gotten a bit of side-eye for that comment so...I guess so much for a frank, open discussion
