skipping the bullshit, an experiment

Hmm. Interesting chatter. Did the dude who dropped his number ever give any results.?:I was just asking a question in my original post, wasn't saying I would do it. What is probably a less risky but still risky approach would be just randomly sending your number in pms

So glad I could provide a public service to the fine members of Lit. :D

With the respect it deserves, SweetErika deserves the credit. At least for making me reconsider what I did.
To make it fair and not insulting (because I honestly do not want anyone to be offended) let's let everyone who is commenting on this thread be acknowledged as helping to make this a Literotica Public Service Advisory.

As for results of the experiment: my phone was as quiet as an abandoned warehouse

I am now gonna take this section of thread to point out the obvious:
My actions were ill-concieved and reckless, with far more detrimental consequences thanwhat I suffered. I got lucky this time. I strongly suggest to all who read this thread to use my folly as a fair warning of what NOT to do.

Thank you.

Why? Because I'm concerned about the very real consequences another member could face by posting a bunch of personal info, and I felt the need to make him aware of such repercussions just in case he enjoys Lit and/or aspects of his current life? Or because I've been around long enough to see how even posting a bit of personal info here and there can get people fired from their jobs and derail promising careers, harm relationships, force people to change their lives drastically after they've acquired a stalker or someone from their personal life decides to get revenge? Because I'd rather see people enjoy themselves here while being relatively safe?

If that makes me a "Debbie downer", then so be it.

Can I join you as a Debbie Downer? I absolutely agree with the safety concerns.

I was just asking a question in my original post, wasn't saying I would do it.

And I answered your query with one of my own - why do you consider having to expend the effort to get to know someone "bullshit"? It's a valid question - given the title of this thread.

I was just being an asshole guy when I said "skipping the bullshit". I'd guess that a lot of dudes on here are just looking for a quick fix at times, no time for getting to know. They just "go fishing" with the copy paste message method hoping for replies. I used to do that in the chat room days to solid results(I do not anymore) and I am sure on here some guys do that. But to answer your question, there is nothing wrong with getting to know someone on here. It's always good to make new friends, internet or not.

Oh and I dig ballerinas bigtime. My ex wife was a former ballet dancer. Something about a solid toe point drives me nuts.

Fixed that for ya. :D

Yes, it's a common enough MO, but not one that I'd suspect of being very successful. Being on the receiving end of douchey PM's is a such a common complaint amongst female Litsters (witness the Asshat threads), that you'd think some men would finally wise up.

Daaamn belidora, are your quads as ripped as they look in the picture or is it just the lighting?

*peers at av*

It's probably a function of being en pointe and maybe, lighting. That said, I had some pretty awesome quads back when I was seriously studying.

SweetErika does deserve the credit for what was said on this thread. The post I responded to was referring to another thread here on Lit.

Don't beat yourself up over putting something out there in a moment of "what the hell." It's not like you kicked puppies or drowned kittens. Just don't do it again and move on, man. Lesson learned.
