The Pick Up continued...
****
I turn my head her direction and likewise see that she is sitting by herself.. I notice her attire and I think hmm, she looks rather inviting, and I should go thank her for the drink. So I walk over to her and say..."Hi, I’m Lee. Thanks so much for the drink. Mind if I join you? After all I like to treat back, you know." I see her hair fall long, and I think ~nice~. “What is your name?”
“Maire. Nice to meet you.” In a low, husky voice, she asks “Wouldn't you sit for a spell? Bet you've been standing all day.”
"Why yes. I would love too." I sit down next to her.
"And what brings you to this area?" Maire says as she thinks she’s never seen him before around here.
"Well my day wasn't really over tiring. I heard the mountains were nice here, and the wildlife very much worth taking in. Are you from this area? I would like to get to know more about these parts."
"Great. I know lots of places you might like. A very large lake with lots of woods around it; the most beautiful waterfall; and a mountain road that almost nobody uses. It’s great for quiet nature walks."
