So according to rush limbaugh, the republican party stands for...

The "VALUES" of the Part of Death

It doesnt matter when LIFE begins, all that matters is a womans RIGHT to murder her BABY!

Senator Augustine and the Church of the Democratic Party

Meet the Press this morning:

Brokaw: …“I if [Obama] were to come to you and say ‘help me out here, Madam Speaker, when does life begin,’ what would you tell him?

Pelosi: “I would say that as an ardent practicing Catholic this is an issue that I have studied for a long time, and what I know is over the centuries the doctors of the Church have not been able to make that definition. And St. Augustine said three months. We don’t know. The point is it that it shouldn’t have an impact on a woman’s right to chose.

It shouldn't have an impact? Tell that to parents looking at sonograms. Look, it's obviously alive. Nevermind. "Shouldn't have an impact."

It's the blind leading the blind in that party if the "ardent practicing Catholic" doesn't care when life begins, only that women have the choice to do what they "choose" (sometimes, thanks to people like Pelosi, not aware of what their choices actually are) whether it's life or not.

Brokaw should have asked her about infanticide — Obama and the Born-Alive Act. But her answer may have been even more terrifying ....

When did I state a willingness to force my morality on others? Forcing my morality would mean I was in favor of outlawing it. Or picket in front of abortion clinics.

You did it here:

The choice should be made before the legs are spread.

Or is that too narrowminded of an approach?
The difference between us and animals is the ability to control our animal urges. Those who don't believe in controlling them are in prison, dead, or homeless drug/alcohol addicts etc... begging for change to get through the day. Or heading to an abortion clinic so as not to interrupt their lives.

Granted, you're not as blind in your phrasing as the local lunatic busybody, but you still pass judgement on women who "spread their legs", women not being able to "control their animal urges" and "use abortion as birth control". All three statements reek of misogyny, and all of this is being said on a board where you're here to look at stories and pictures of naked women (or men) no less!

So where is your control of your animal urges then? Why not eshew sex altogether if it's a matter of controlling those urges? Where is the consistency? Or should this moral obligation to control these base urges only apply to women?

In case you can't comprehend, I clearly stated I would rather see our country move to a point of not "seeking" an abortion to fix a "mistake", rather than outlaw it. You conveniently keep refusing to acknowledge this fact.

I haven't ignored it... I actually feel the same way you do on that point to be honest. However, I can divide my personal feelings from the argument. I don't need to provide a moral foundation for others, i trust that they can do it for themselves. Isn't that one of your basic tenants?

the thread starter SUPPORTS the MURDER of LIVE BABIES!

the thread starter would rather MURDER BABIES then put em up for adoption

the thread starter calls BABIES,

MISTAKES!

To say nothing of the fact that the thread starter probably mis-characterized Limbaugh's position anyway.

Limbaugh is a major contributor to republican/libertarian meme, and helps dictate, or at the very least, disseminate the message to all the sheep.

It wasnt ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Faith-Based Protesting

At the official DNC interfaith service, two protesters just interrupted yelling "Obama supports the murder of children by abortion!"

BABY KILLINGS!

So where's the link to prove your assertion that Rush thinks the most important issue of the day is abortion?

Here's a couple from the horse's mouth:

There's something going on with the McCain campaign here as the selection process dwindles down for the vice presidency, and it looks like McCain advisors are laying the groundwork for either picking a Democrat, Joe Lieberman, or a pro-choice Republican to further McCain's move to the center and the left to pick up disaffected Obama voters; 'cause they're just assuming that those of us in the base will show up and solidify -- in fact, they think that's already happened. But they think we're going to show up and solidify because of our just fear and unacceptable attitudes toward Barack Obama, the Lord Messiah Most Merciful. I think they're misjudging if they think they can put a pro-choice candidate on the ticket. McCain's telling us that he's going to go out and make sure that he picks the right kind of judges for the Supreme Court.

Well, now, one of the definitions that the conservative base has for the right kind of judge on the Supreme Court is not somebody who's going to vote to affirm Roe v. Wade if it ever comes up. So we're going to start doubting all kinds of things. If he's going to go with a pro-choice -- or even a Democrat who is good on the war but has just as liberal a voting record as Chris Dodd does, if he's going to go one of those two routes -- then it's going to be reasonable for us to start doubting what he has said and promised about the right kind of judges on the courts. So the fur is going to fly on this one. The last time it flew was when somebody suggested that McCain might put a Democrat on the ticket. You know, it's one thing for Democrats, for our enemies to say, "Hey, why don't you pick one of us on your ticket." It's another thing for our side to put the spear in our own heart.

Rush is clearly caught lying here again... He has no heart.

Strict constructionists. Well, okay. If you believe that you're going to put a strict constructionist on the Supreme Court and that's what you're telling people, how in the world do you then find a pro-abort vice presidential running mate when one of the central issues that matters to conservatives and so forth on the Supreme Court is finding judges who might someday overturn Roe v. Wade? So you put a pro-abort VP, and you promise at the same time you'll put strict constructionist judges, we have to doubt. It's going to shake people's confidence in his promise to put conservative judges on the court. And to a lot of people, throw out Russia-Georgia, you throw out Iraq. The court is central to a lot of people in terms of why they vote. Let me add another point here. This decision to put a pro-abort vice president on his ticket is a crucial one. He's off the main field. I want to read to you a quote from a Democrat pollster who worked for Mayor Bloomberg. His name is Doug Schoen. "This move to a pro-choice running mate such as Lieberman could help reshape his message to appeal to swing voters. The right-wing is not going anywhere and choice is a key issue for over-40 women who voted for Hillary in the primaries." So a Democrat pollster is applauding the potential move of the man he does not support for president, McCain, to put a pro-choice guy on the ticket as vice president 'cause that will go... McCain has already shorn up his message for people on the left. He doesn't need to firm it up anymore.

Not to mention this laughable quote on there as well:
If you're going to put a pro-choice man on your ticket, or woman, you're putting a liberal on your ticket.

Guess ann coulter is out then, huh?

Hey Dick'r. What about this Obama in favor of infanticde thing? Any truth to that?

Ishmael

It's pretty much in keeping with the theme of the thread. Of course you can short circuit the whole thing by saying, "It just ain't true Ish."

Ishmael

But that's your line... Who knows where you lifted it from though.

It goes without saying that anything coming out of your mouth is by definition suspect from a "truthiness" perspective, Childkiller.
