So I removed all my stories from here...

I know this is a dumb question, but I don't generally look around for things like this. How do you see how many followers someone has, other than the people on the top 250 list?
The site updates in such a weird way. If you click on some older story, and then look under author's name, you will see some very outdated numbers. Best choice is to click on the newest story of that author and then look under his/her name.

Nah. My lips are extremely sensitive. But hey, leave me your address. I'll send you a little stool, so you don't hurt your knees.

You have been active here for twenty years. 40 stories – most of them red H and still only 240 followers. Does anyone have a handkerchief? I've been getting sentimental lately.

Duleigh doesn't really need me knighting for him, but if you do want to get into personal attacks, for God sake learn to read a submission list properly. 40 stories - 6 from 2006/08, nothing for fourteen years, and then 30+ stories this year, mostly in novels and sci-fi (almost all H as you note), which don't attract followers to anywhere like the same degree of attention that Incest or Loving Wives does. Even if we pretend that number of followers is indeed some kind of competition, his number of followers is exactly where I'd expect it to be for the stuff he writes.

Seems to be another "post and run" thread. People are left wondering what the OP's motive was and, having no answer, naturally veer into unrelated topics.

Not to be a stalker on main, but looking at his previous posting, he said this elsewhere, recently:

I posted about fifty stories, ranging from shit to brilliant, then took them all down in a fit of self-loathing.

Just mentioning it here in case anyone was worried, though I guess it's still a bit mysterious.

It applies to all of us, but removing all your stories is a form of self-destruction. The stories will remain long after us; definitely the best of them. Removing them is a like removing yourself. Unless you intend to use them commercially, it makes no sense.

P.S. Why do you keep saying authors? According to Google an author is a writer who has actually sold something.
perhaps some of us have sold something...

I asked for a handkerchief, not excuses.

You're welcome to kiss his belt buckle. He'll be delighted. If you don't mind the taste of rust, that is.
Good idea. Stick to knob gags. It's a level of trolling that won't see you fall flat on your face too often.

NoJo is the second incarnation of this writer. He was here when I first got here and dropped off when he moved from a housebot on the Thames to a house. There was some relationship trouble also as I remember it. A really nice guy but he has had some issues.

He brought some humor to the AH from time to time.

When someone sticks a sword into the ground with the tip of the blade up, and then watches people run and jump on it over and over again – it's a fascinating phenomenon but not trolling.
Actually it is here in the AH.

If I recall right, he also had a habit of starting a thread about random things, then drifting off quick.
But if he's gaming, mission accomplished here. My personal guess would be he's mad about something, but like I said in my first post, they're his stories to do as he pleases and the door is always open for another return.
