but back to work and no net access tomorrow.

The place I am working has no net cafe locally and the hotel I am in has no wifi, even if I did have a lap top

Congratulations on the new job. If you get on a jury, I hope is is interesting and brief. I have been called too many times but never actually wound up selected. I once almost made a murder trial but the defendant finally realized it was for real and "copped" a plea.

Yea that WD... he's such a GUY sometimes. LOL But you're right, he has a good heart.

They are converting my hall to a non-wandering Alzheimer's unit, or so they think. I have 3 on my hall who are escape risks and I caught 2 of them trying to make a run for it last night (in their wheelchairs) out the front door. Luckily I caught them before either had crossed the threshold or it would've meant triplicate paper work and phone calls to the family and physician and all kinds of bullshit that the government has now mandated.

2 of these guys are new roommates. And they don't like each other. Add to that, they have changed one guys meds. (You know... if it's working it must be wrong, so let's fuck it up.) By this morning at 0545 they were hitting each other in the hallway and then when one of the aides tried to seperate them, they started swinging and kicking her. I saw all this from the end of the hall while I was passing meds.

I have another who is benign and pleasant but also looking for ways out and she's pulled the fire alarm twice this week.

It was the night from hell and I'm facing another one tonight.

I used to love my job.

Now I look at these poor, confused and tormented folks and wonder which one I'll be like in less than 15 years.

This is my nightmare.

I betcha I'll be the one whose behavior the nurse's will call "sexually inappropriate". Or at least I can hope...
