Probably no creature on earth can cause as much torment for its size than the tiny chigger. Tiny six-legged chigger larvae attack campers, picnickers, hikers, bird watchers, berry pickers, fishermen, soldiers, and homeowners in low, damp areas where vegetation is rank such as woodlands, berry patches, orchards, along lakes and streams, and even in drier places where vegetation is low such as lawns, golf courses, and parks. They are most numerous in early summer when grass, weeds and other vegetation are heaviest. Chiggers do not burrow into the skin, but insert their mouthparts in a skin pore or hair follicle. Their bites produce small, reddish welts on the skin accompanied by intense itching as irritating as acute cases of poison ivory or poison sumac. These symptoms often are the only way of learning that an outdoor area is infested since chiggers are so small that most cannot be seen without a magnifying glass. Chiggers feed on a wide variety of snakes, turtles, birds, and small mammals as well as humans.

lol yea they are ohh the bite would suck donkey balls to get im gonna sick with the fleas and ticks out here in ca during the summer...knock on wood i dont get bite again..had a tick bite last summer then had to go to the hosiptal adn get a lime disease test not fun killed 4 days of a 8 day hunting trip ins that hospital

Thank God! I thought I was the only conservative Republican on this board... Yeah, I get hassled about it, but that only makes me more determined to do my part to change things, that is, to vote conservatively.

This happens to everybody who expresses their political beliefs, whether Democrat or Republican. Your beliefs may be getting criticized more right now because the GOP controls the White House (and thus we're living--I would say suffering--under its policies), but these things go in cycles. It's just something we all have to deal with.

I believe that there is only one real reason why other counties, and a majority of Americans pick on the United States like this.

I'm not sure I agree. If you look across the globe, some countries have more permissive cultures than ours in terms of drug laws and nudity, some less so. Same with the amount of free education provided--some provide more, some provide less. And others do provide free medical care--whereas health care here, if you're not insured, is obscenely expensive. But the, health care is a joke in some countries. So I don't see that we're any more "different", in those respects.

The US is getting criticized a lot right now because it spearheaded the invasion of Iraq, which many (including myself) have regarded as unnecessary and a waste of lives and resources. I'd rather not get in a debate about it, but it's fair to say that a lot of people feel that way.

I do appreciate that you're making the effort to share your beliefs here. It's nice to see a woman who has something to say, in addition to being quite beautiful. Thanks again for the pictures.

I would first like to start by saying that you are an attractive woman and I have been lurking around since you started posting, BUT, I would also like to convey to you the reason that Americans are looked down upon by the rest of the world. It is because a lot of Americans come across as both arrogant and ignorant. This is a common affliction in any country, the problem is with Americans, somehow the most powerful people in the country seem to have these traits. The world as a whole is never going to agree with Republican policies and that also causes resentment. I could go on but I really don't care enough to continue. The point is that it has nothing to do with the reasons that you stated. I am pointing these things out as an American that currently resides in another country so don't think that I am being anti-american, I am just being realistic.
