I have enjoyed this thread quite a bit since I happen to have stumbled upon it a few weeks back.

I couldn't help but to notice that you seem to be a seasonal type of poster... surfacing around the same time every year and then fading away after a few weeks have past. Is this something that's going to continue?

You know what pisses me off? People who constantly tell me that I suck and that I should re-evaluate my political party because I'm a republican, and conservative.

Oh my fucking God, I can not even count how often I get harassed because of it.

Why can't I enjoy my fellow republicans without being harassed by people who don't agree with me?

And another thing!

What is it with people in other countries who diss the US (and have never even been here?!)?

I believe that there is only one real reason why other counties, and a majority of Americans pick on the United States like this.

-Because we're different.

The Untied States makes itself out to be a big target by being different from other countries, or rather "backwards" from other countries. And not a lot of people can't wrap their brains around it. Like, a lot of other countries portray nude women on TV (check out the British News shows!), and the Untied States doesn't. Hell, several countries legalized pot, but the US hasn't.

What does the US do that most other countries don't?

-Offer free education, and even financial aide for school supplies, for all children and teens.
-Send missionaries out to third world countries to help with education, food, economy, and shelter.

People don't like people who are different, it's been proven throughout history more times than I can count. It just irritates me that the people who judge Americans because the US once was a racist country against blacks, Asians, and Native Americans, are the same people who, in anger, point out aspects about the US that we (as in Americans) may believe are ok, but others don't like because they're "different".

see luckly i hail from from cali and we dont have to side with a major faction or party to vote in a major election but i tend to lean more towards the democratic way and im a little more green.

another thing is that cali tried to legalize pot and the us congress shot us down

and another thing why cant the usa offer a cradle to grave medical care i eman we are soo backwards
