FYI -

When you looke like me, and you're standing in line at the post office, and there are very ill behaved children in front of you, and you make a joke about duct tape... the odds of getting lectured for "Not understanding how difficult a job motherhood is" are really freaking high. For some reason they always do a double take when I calmly say "Yes I do; I have five kids." :rolleyes:

Fireplay Basics - This is a "how to" class on the joys of heat and flame. When that hot submissive teasingly taunts you with "C'mon baby, light my fire!" You'll know how to respond! From candles and wax play, to flaming alcohol, to fire batons, to the time honored healing practice of fire cupping, you'll get an overview of many varieties of fireplay. Learn about what you can use for fuel, sources of ignition, how to make some of your own fireplay toys, and ways to spark up your play! Topics will include "Pre-Scene Safely", "Set Up",
and "First Aid for Minor Burns", and the ever important, "This Is What _I_ Did Wrong, Do Not Repeat This At Home!" If we are all very lucky, Geoff will NOT be demonstrating "Erotic Hair Removal By Fire" or "How To Burn Down Your Play Space"

There will be a "How To" segment on how to make your own fire batons. This segment, if you wish to participate, will require a long handled, wooden (NOT PLASTIC ! ! !) kitchen spoon, 2 to 4 2"x2" or 3"x3" gauze pads, and a roll of 2" cotton gauze. These items can be found very inexpensively at your nearest Wal-Mart or pharmacy.

Presenter BIO: Evil_Geoff has been emotionally and spiritually oriented towards SM and D/s for as long as he can remember there was a difference between boys and girls, and what that difference was for. He really understood just how far off the straight and narrow he was though, when he discovered "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" while still in high school. It was almost 20 more years however, in 1997, before he was introduced to BDSM as a lifestyle that people could actually live and practice.

His education began rapidly at that point, becoming active in groups and participating in events ranging from the Group With No Name and Texas Leather Pride in Austin, Texas, to The Sanctuary of a Dark Angel and PEP in Atlanta Georgia, to TMG and AprilBash in Raleigh, NC. Over the years he has learned from some of the best and brightest teachers the BDSM and Leather worlds have to offer. Geoff has become an aficionado at many things over the years, to include fireplay, needles, the violet wand, flogging, caning, and did we mention fireplay?

He is a major proponent for the S/M community, the NCSF, and all things leather and SM related, Geoff has presented for numerous regional groups, and is the founder, and a former President of This Thing That We Do, T3WD, a pansexual BDSM education and support group in Columbia, SC. He is the proud owner and fiance of janey who has been part of his life since 2003, and who has worn his collar since January 6th, 2007.
