Southern Belles Everywhere

Hi from Tennessee.

All this talk about words and how to pronounce them makes me wonder, don't you think there are better words to say than yall??

Right on Geoff!

It IS a contraction of you all, and spelled as you say.

It takes so long to say 'em all, we had to do sumthin!

But I never drag it out into a 2-syllable word. You must be thinkin' of Tennessee.

Their accent makes me sound like a yankee!

Its more sensual for a southern woman to drag her words out It makes guys watch our mouths and what we intend to do next with them dont you think?

Or at least that has been my experience. :p

I'll just take my extra large Texas ego and move along.

Aww, MsTexas, what fun is that? You are MORE THAN WELCOME here, and your sultry Texas charm is thoroughly appreciated. Any sentiment to the contrary is simply a misunderstanding.

(nathan places his own hand over his mouth in a desperate attempt to resist saying... "Y'arlmph kxme gacx naogh, y'hirml;')

One of my favorite words is sugar.

Nice work, Snake...

I must say that I also enjoy the clothing worn by Southern ladies during nice weather... not to mention the parts that aren't clothed! (oops, guess I mentioned it) Speaking of which... I like "oops!" a lot in warm weather too :D

True, hot weather plus hot ladies equals tight clothes on the ladies which equals my pants getting tighter also.

Oh okay, I just like picking on the Dawgs since we've beaten them 15 out of 17 times lol.

LSU's got a good program though. Too bad Big Baby couldn't stay healthy.
