Space Pirates (OOC, always open)

Link worked, alright sounds good to me, I like the second one.:) then I guess we'll play it by ear from there. I'm gonna post my character bio soon, lol just remember that there is still fantasy and stuff but also there is very great technology, like my armor... Lol

Hi All! ^_^

I came here hoping to find some anime-inspired Space Opera, and it looks like that's similar to what you're starting up here.

Room for one more? :)

Will you post often enough for me to be mesmerized by your AV and sigline? Cus if I have to start a new one to get that I will.

~LOL~ As long as I'm having fun, you'll see me post frequently! ;)

Um this isn't really anime...

Yeah, I just figured "Space Pirates" sounded close enough to what I'm in the mood for. You're saving me the trouble of having to start from scratch. :)

All space operas are roughly the same anyhow. I mean lets behonest. Star Wars and the 5th Element aren't any less crazy than Cowboy Bebop and certainly crazier than Outlaw Star who's only really crazy bullshit was the Intergalatic Leyline which is in all of two episodes.

Don't see any reason why not to start soon, I'll give everyone 24 hours to post the characters, if they don't, oh well. I'll start the IC, in 24 hours or less if we all get our characters.

I'll probably get a character up tonight if I can. I'm kinda swamped for the weekend though. Got an all day board game on Saturday and a Labor Day party on Sunday and Monday. . .well if I'm not so hung over from 48 hours playing who gets to eat the worm I'll be all about Lit. But I expect to be staring at my ceiling and wondering why the world won't stop spinning.

Name: Allison

Age: 23

Class: Agent/ Special ops

Appearance: She never takes off her armor (Below). She is strong, agile, smart and the best at her work, combat and everything else. She is determined to do her job, she'll kill with no problem, and is very distant, mean, and quiet. Beneath her armor, she is slim, sexy, in shape, and about 5.9. Her face is soft and fair, she has long brown wavy hair and dark brown eyes. With a large scar on her right cheek.

History: On earth she was in the army, who lost, she was a prisoner in war for 2 years. After she had enough rage, motivation and skill. She was then hired by the government itself to work for them, Spy, assassinations, etc. Over the years she's become more the skilled but brilliant. Her armor has the Invisibility implant, which allows her the become completely invisible, along with what she's holding. She then decided to work for space pirates, hired by a certain crew. She is like a protecter, or is sent out on missions on herself to complete. She helps in invasions, etc and is usually the one to guarantee their success. Until one day while she was away, they were destroyed and killed. And now she hunts their killers down. Whom separated after her attack on them. Now she hunts every one of them down.

She never takes off her armor?! That's no fun. :( Guess that means I'm up.

Lol for romance, sleeping she does, but during the day she usually keeps it on, she'll take off her helmet every now and then so don't worry lol

Okay, I'm less sad. AS long as there is a woman in there. IF you screw with the camera in Halo 3 you find out that underneath Mastercheif's helmet. . .is another helmet!

I should have some playtime available tomorrow and Sunday, but not Monday.

I'm kicking around a few character ideas... let me know if any of these strike an interest... And these are listed in alphabetical order, not preference. And the pictures are just something quick I found for each concept... I'm not committed to any of them.

K0B25ym.jpg

Name: Cassiopeia "Cassie" Rey
Concept: A by-the-books junior naval officer serving aboard an Alliance patrol boat in the area the pirates are operating in. Either boards the pirates' ship for an inspection and is captured, or outside circumstances forces her to be abandoned while still on board, or she's serving aboard a ship the pirates raid and somehow finds herself aboard their ship after, etc. A more conservative character that would strike a contrast to the other characters' personalities and eventually integrate herself into the team.

idxVA1p.jpg

Name: Hana Duet
Concept: Independent captain of the starfreighter Three Steps Ahead, and occasional smuggler. Could be an ally of the pirates, or even a victim (although I have a hard time seeing how she could then befriend them... unless it's some kind of major mistaken identity or something). Her name pretty much sums up her personality if you can "read between the lines". ~LOL~

2Zm0nMN.png

Name: Nima
Concept: A felinoid alien xeno-archaeologist. Perhaps her ship carrying rare archaeological finds is plundered by the pirates, and/or the corrupt government seizes or destroys her finds (or attempts to suppress knowledge of one of her discoveries from reaching the public). Maybe in a turn of events she hires the pirates to either steal back her treasures or smuggle her through government controlled space?

BAVrJe0.jpg

Name: Pix
Concept: Cute and naive little alien girl plucked from her primitive world and finds herself aboard the pirates' ship. Would be a real "fish out of water" character, but possessed with limitless wanderlust and desire to see the universe. I can see her being super cheerful and a morale boost for the crew -- almost like the team mascot.

Let me know if there's a favorite and I'll try and flesh her out.

Name: Brandon Phobos

Age: ??

Class: Infiltrator

History: Brandon Phobos was erased. Literally. All traces of his existence prior to five years ago were utterly erased. No birth certificates, no school registrations, no medical or dental records. Nothing remains from his old life whatever it was. The only hints that remain of his old life are the scars he bears. A right eye replaced with a high speed optic called the Pineal Eye. Capable of seeing a broader spectrum of light than the human eye including infrared and ultraviolet it can also process visual information before sending it to the brain thus allowing Brandon to react to situations faster than normal humans. However this is taxing on his mind and he usually keeps it covered. His left arm was removed just above the shoulder replaced with a fully cybernetic limb. The limb is much stronger than human but is still ultimately anchored to a regular flesh and blood human being. (He can't lift cars because his legs and back can't handle it. Arm be damned. Similarly he can't stop a speeding car because again legs and back, not mention the laws of inertia and his very human weight.) The arm is also equipped with weapons and tools, most notably a grapnel, vibrablade and machine gun.

Brandon's a mercenary above all else. The only thing keeping him from being a formal bounty hunter is a thorough distrust for authority but he'll do near anything if the pay is right. Once he accepts a contract and has been paid he will always follow through with the mission. Even if the client is killed. However if he is not paid he will stop even if he was nearly finished with the mission itself.

He is the owner of the Star Knight, a freighter class ship and is currently working on a new ship.

This is Allisons appearance, so who's ship do we end up on?

Whatever one you like the best, you can you all if you want, anything if fine with me.

I can't be objective. I have a thing for catgirls. If you can handle multiples that's not a problem just don't feel forced. If need be I can have a secondary character it's rarely needed for guys though. :-(

Not my ship. Brandon would go on some one elses and just slave his controls to theirs until it came time to dock.

Hahaha omg that's terrible, I'm a big halo fan.

It's hilarious because you're not supposed to see it at all.
